Sachio lay curled up underneath a large thick tree, its lower snow-laden branches making a small, warm burrow where they met the snow-covered ground. He could hear the steps of a larger creature, and slowed his breath to try and keep from being discovered, unsure of the nature of the one passing.

Loki nodded his head to Itsuki. "An agent of our Higher Being has reported that mountain is really a dormant volcano, and will be erupting soon. You and miki shoudl go scout the nearest way to the cnyons." He turned to Terra and Kyou. "Terra, go gather any medical supplies we may need. Kyou, I've sent Rae out, so I want you to guard your children and help keep thigns organized. We may not be leaving, but we'd be foolish not to prepare."
In fact, he doubted they would leave.
He looked down, noticing a small fox under a rock. The red, yellow and black fox seemed ot be asleep. "Good evening, little one."
((I am not going through the trouble of a mass migration storyline. XD))

Itsuki nodded and turned to Miki. "Right, should we go then," she asked, turning toward the canyons.
Terra nodded, as well, thinking of a list of medical supplies they might need as she ran off into the forest for the first item on her mental list.
Kyou looked, worriedly, towards the mountain, before quickly grabbing up his six BCRs.

Sachio flinched a small bit when he realized that he had been found, and mentally chided himself for picking a spot where he knew tribes were near. Though, the feeling of sorta having company had caused him to make such a decision...
He then noticed that the words spoken to him had been kind, and held no malice. He flicked his ears a couple times, then timidly looked up into the eyes of a large green and black fox. "Good evening, sir." He answered in a small voice.

Loki smiled down at the kit, bowing his head in a tradtionally respectful greeting. "I am Loki, one of the two Elders of Kousetsu. May I inquire as to your name, and how you came to find yourself here?" He was curious; he vaguely wondered if the pull of the lake had brought him here.
Rae became increasingly angry as the debate moved on. Here she was, with six children on the way, and they could not decide if they were actually in danger?!
Miki nodded and followed Itsuki, wlking in the designated direction. "I can already tell there is bramble in this path...." SHe looked down at the ground; either the other animals of the forest had not been warned, or they simply did not care.
((I want out of this plot line. XD))

Itsuki ran along the path towards the canyons. 'What's going to happen to us...'

((Thorny bush stuff. It can grow in snow-provided you're in the magical Kousestsu lands. XD))
Miki followed after Itsuki, uncertain. Deep down, she was almost certain they would go nowhere, but would not risk their tribe's survival by refusing to do work.

Sachio tipped his head in greeting as well, unable to nod too well while lying on the ground. He wasn't sure if he should get up... this elder seemed nice enough, but Sachio was still skeptical. "My name is Sachio... At least, that's what I think it is." He replied, frowning. It was all he could remember being called... before he had been run off from his family.
"I made my way here from a far place of sun and sand," he said in reply to Loki's second question. "I just kept going, until I ended up here. I could sense a feeling of peace here, and it drew me in... I, I would like to stay," he finished looking up hopefully at the elder.
{Sorry if it seems choppy... I hadn't thought of a background for him yet. >.>}

Miki looked around. "You'd have to ask Rae, she scouts the mountains most frequently. However-" Miki looked around, her eyes focusing farther below the." -If we were to jump to that ledge down there, I believe we would be closer to the area where the river empties into the canyon..."

Sachio blinked, then looked up at Loki. That was easier than he had expected... Jumping up, he smiled. "Thank you, Loki, sir!" he replied.

Itsuki looked down. Nodding in agreement, she said, "True, but with Kyou and Rae's BCRs... will it be safe?" Worriedly, she tried thinking of some solution. "Well," she said, "I'm sure if we had more than one person carry them, then it will be safer..."

Loki chuckled and nodded. "Of course, Sachio. But enough with the 'sirs'. I am not quite that old yet," he joked. He looked around. "Come, I'll take you to the main area of the tribe." He started to walk towards Kosui, making sure Sachio followed.
Miki frowned thoughtfully. "One or two to a leg should keep them secure..."

Sachio smiled, and laughed kindly as well. "Well, alright, Loki." he replied. He then fell in step behind him, happy once again.
