"Ahmenta, the world where the sun sets, and we referred to your world as the land where the sun rises. We do have sun, yes, but only for about six hours, two of those hours are excruciating, four of them would kill any living thing on the surface except one, what we call heat-seekers, and we're not truly sure whether those creatures could be considered living. My formal name is Omsahirana Elo'tugali, which roughly defines me as crown princess born of the Tugali clan, my brother and I were the last of the Tugali, and adopted into the ruling clan, due to the fact that we both inherited certain gifts associated with our clan." Sahira gave a slight shrug, "The high-up folks, would probably be from Juridan. I know that's where Soltari stems, as well as Ancwalar, and some others."
Ruby gave a slight nod, "Arch's been there 'fore too, an' Lori's from there also." She glanced at the Cheif, "You've lost your accent, if you're really from the south an' all. That's kinda sad, sug, drawls are lovely things."

"Huh, that explains some." The Chief said simply, taking another sip of tea.
"I only spent the first 10 or so years of my life there. My father got transferred after that." He said, glancing over at Ruby.

Sahira chuckled, "it doesn't explain half of it, but it's too long a story for you, Onyx, perhaps some other time."
Ruby let out a soft sigh, "I'm sure it was ten wonderful years though. I miss the south." Ruby let out another sigh, and laid out dramatically across the big pillow. She would of course swear at the south if she were there at the moment, but while being away, the place was perfect in her mind.

"Perhaps." The Chief shrugged. "I can remember bits of life down there, but we moved up to Oregon, and I was there till 'round the war."

Arch the Angel "Perhaps." The Chief shrugged. "I can remember bits of life down there, but we moved up to Oregon, and I was there till 'round the war." Ruby tilted her head, "Which war? You mean the mimic one?" Sahira grimaced, "now that's a bit of history I was glad not to be a part of."

"Yeah, the Mimic war. That's where I met the Angel, and he called me up a few years later to see if I wanted to come down here and help out."

Arch the Angel "Yeah, the Mimic war. That's where I met the Angel, and he called me up a few years later to see if I wanted to come down here and help out." "So were you always a lawman?" Sahira asked, a bit surprised.Ruby tilted her head a bit. "I didn't know you an' feathers, knew each other. Were you in Canada?"

"No. I was a sailor for a while, but the war kinda snuck up on all of us. And yeah, I knew Arch from Canada. I heard a big resistance was forming up there, not all that far from where I was, so I went and helped them out."

Sahira nodded, "can still smell the sea on you. So from there you moved to the law, I can see why the angel would station you there."
"He ever talk about me?" Ruby asked.

"The folks near me after the war still needed help, and there were plenty of folks who'd rather prey on them than anything else. The job sorta fell in my lap." The Chief gave a chuckle as he took another drink. "He wouldn't shut up about you. When we wern't fightin', he was either talkin' 'bout his girl back home, or in his room 'mopin."

"nice lap to fall into." Sahira lounged on the pillow as comfortable as any tabby. "Do you miss the sea?"
Ruby's head collapsed into the pillow. "He moped, my sugar moped."
((Going off to sister's birthday thing, will be back but probably rather late. Oh, and nice touch with the pixie glow, that made Ruby laugh.))

"Sometimes. It's weird not falling asleep to it, that's for sure. Used to be able to hear it all the time." He shrugged. He decided to pretend to ignore the comment about the lap, though it gave him a short smile.

Ruby glanced up from her pillow, a pleased smile on her face, thoughts of Arch pushing away some of the fears left by the illusions.
Sahira noted the chief ignoring her comment, and chuckled inside. It made teasing him that much more amusing. "It frightened me a bit when I first heard it, I couldn't understand what that constant roaring noise was, especially when the breeze was so soft."

Arch the Angel "Ayeh. Xeen, yeh gahwt ah waih ohf tellihn uhs weah 'eh ihs?" The Chief's mind was quickly filled with images of Sahira and Ruby in the room, along with directions on how to get there. The Chief nodded his head, and moved out, with a quick smile to Min. Xeen turned to the remaining members. "I can track the specific nature of his Energy."
