((Nice fight Z.))
Mag saw many trainers along the route but luckily none wanted to battle with him so he made relatively good time. Soon he was close enough to see the mountain up close. It looked like it would be a long hike if he intended to go over it.
But Mag knew that there was in fact a path through the mountain that could be taken to shorten the journey. He started up the trail and was surprised to find a Pokemon Center near the start.
"I suppose they need one in case people need help." Mag stated after thinking for about it for a moment.

((thanks. I am suprised at how hard it is to come up with a good fight when I only know like 2 moves and my pokemon is not even human shape so it can't really punch or kick plus very few pokemon are weak against bug types.))

Though his pokemon didn't really need any healing Mag decided it would be good to check into the Pokemon Center and see what was up. At the very least he could rest up before he went through Mt. Moon.
"Hello Nurse." Mag stated as he walked into the building. "Hi there. Welcome to the Pokemon Center." She replied before returning to her computer to continue working. Mag decided to go check out the map on the wall. It had the trails over and through Mt. Moon on it.

Mitsu sighed. At least the attack hit it's mark sending the small Pokemon toppling back a few feet. "Let's try it again. Aerial Ace!" Mitsu instructed having all her hopes with Zyphyr. Again he hesitated, and decided on another Quick Attack. This time the Machop wasn't caught off guard and blocked the attack, taking in little damage. Mitsu ground the back of teeth. C'mon! Just listen to me for once!
The Machop counted with a Low Kick. It's attack hit several rocks causing them to explode sending several large sized rocks flying down the mountain side. Several rocks clipped Zyphyr's wings and for a second he seemed to be out of the count as he began to fall down out of the sky at an alarming rate. The Flying Pokemon began to spiral downwards, now it didn't look like he was falling but rather attempt to speed up. Seconds before impact he whipped open his wings glided along the floor then shot up at an extremely sharp angle. He began to soar upwards flying even faster than on his way down. Zyphyr's wings began to glow a faint then bright white. He reached the spot where the Machop stood bracing for impact. He curved a bit then rammed his left wing into the Pokemon causing double the damage thanks to the type advantage. It doubled over then ran off. "Nice Aerial Ace," Mitsu commented with a smug look on her face.

((Since Mike isn't on and hasn't been on for a while I am going to have fun making fun of one his favorite pokemon. XP Note this battle will be filled with much of my hatered for one of the ugliest pokemon ever created.)) Ignoring Keegan as he stood facing the other trainer angrily, the other trainer, who will now be called Steve from here on out, just grinned and tossed out a pokeball. In a flash an ugly Magmar appeared out of the pokeball, upon seeing the pokemon a somewhat disturbed look flashed on Dante's face, he had no love for the Magmar evolution line. Reaching to his belt he pulled out the first pokeball that he felt and tossed it out to reveal Shiva who gave out a loud roar happy to be out of her pokeball.
"So your from Hoenn eh girlie?" Steve taunted from his side of the arena.
"No, I am from Kanto, I just prefur the better looking pokemon of the Hoenn regeon." He glanced back at Keegan and gave him an appologetic look, "Your Helios is exempt from my comment."

The ground above her began to shake just as Mitsu was about to recalled Zyphyr after a job well done. An angry looking Machoke appeared, its arms were crossed and its eyes were glaring daggers at the duo. The small Machop peeped over its shoulder sticking it's tongue at Zyphyr. The Pidgeotto shot daggers equally as sharp at the Machop. Mitsu uttered one not-so-friendly word as the Machoke kicked the ground above her causing Mitsu to loose her grip on the rocks and slide down the mountainside. Zyphyr spotted his fallen trainer and then glanced back at the Machoke and Machop as if contemplating on what he should do. Save his trainer from an injury or attack the Pokemon that had insulted him.
He faced Mitsu sending a strong gust towards her. The wind failed to aid his trainer. It looked almost as if he sighed then began a Quick Attack aimed at Mitsu. "Not again!" Mitsu whined looking at her Pokemon, she had grown tired of the Pokemon constantly attacking her. Before the beak made contact with Mitsu's stomach he turned a bit ramming the side of his body into her then flapped furiously so he did not fall himself.

"Oh no!" Nurse Joy suddenly exclaimed. "What?" Mag asked as he came over to the counter. "I just received and email from an elderly man saying that he is trapped in Mt. Moon. Apparently there was a landslide or something," she stated. "Do you know where he is?" Mag asked. "Maybe I can go and at least try to get him out untill some other help can arrive."
"That is a great idea. Here let me give you the information in the email." She said as Mag forked over his Pokenav. She downloaded trail maps for Mag to follow as well as the Map that should lead to the location the man claimed to be at.

The wind was knocked out of her as Zyphyr's rescue plan succeeded. Mitsu was sent back crashing into a few rather burnt and weak trees several feet below the place she was standing before. "Oww," Mitsu muttered, inspecting herself for injuries. Other than a few cuts here and there nothing else was too bad. The worse was a small, but deep cut across her left cheek, a few drops of crimson blood dropped onto her fingers and she touched the wound gently. She resolved to remind herself to get a ban-aid as soon as they were gone from the 'stupid volcano'.
After a few moment of rapid flapping he managed to steady himself, ready to punish the two Pokemon foolish enough to have insulted him. Mitsu glanced up looking at the Pokemon seeing him merely hovering there, almost as if he was waiting for an order. "Thanks Zyphyr, now let's take care of these guys," Mitsu said, "Use a Quick Attack!" Before they disrupt Kasiya's battle or before they scare off that Absol...Hah. Yeah right. That Absol, scared? Zyphyr listened this time flying towards the Machoke. The attack struck but so was Zyphyr. He suffered from a well-timed Karate Chop. "Zypyhr fly up into the air!" Mitsu instructed. The bird Pokemon looked skeptical but decided to listen, the last time he hadn't it caused Mitsu some injuries. He took off like a jet climbing up in the air higher and higher.

"Vulpix are native to Hoenn too," Keegan pointed out, but decided it wouldn't be of any use to try to talk to Dante now. The Hoenn native cast a sidelong glance at the Magmar, trying not to laugh out loud. He'd always thought that Magmar were quite funny-looking. The Sealeo, on the other hand, was quite adorable, and Keegan was reminded of the few Spheal he'd helped raise not too long ago. "Get 'em good, Dant - err, Diana!" he called encouraginly.

Keegan was right seeing as Dante wasn't really listening, he was more distracted by the ugly abomination of a pokemon in front of him. " Shiva lets start this battle off with a Surf." Dante called out. The cute seal pokemon gave a happy cry as her eye's glowed slightly as a large gush of water appeared and smashed into the Magmar.
The trainer across from him growled slightly and told his Magmar to shake it off. "Magmar use Smoke Screen!" Steve comanded. The ugly pokemon shook off the water and let a cloud of smoke start to billow out of its duck like mouth which soon covered the area around it completely obscuring the pokemon from veiw.

Keegan watched the massive water attack slam into the Magmar, and he smiled slightly. He could feel his excitement rising, even though he wasn't the one battling. As the thick haze covered the battlefield, he was nearly rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet, his hands twitching eagerly at his sides.

Mag walked up to the entrance of the cave path that lead to the stranded man. "Well this sure is creepy." Mag commented as he was swalled by the half light of the cave. There seemed to be a few lights set up every so far so that you could mostly see the way.
Mag looked at his pokenav. The arrow showed he was right on course.

((Andy congrats on filling out your bar for your quest! And you dont have to reply to every post I make about the battle, I just dont like being the same person posting back to back with the same charactor for some reason. sweatdrop )) Groaning slightly at the smoke covering the field now Dante sighed and shifting a bit uncomfertably, his anger starting to disapate. "Shiva use Defense Curl." Without complaint Shiva curled herself into a ball glowing slightly as her defense was raised.
Steve on the other hand had other idea's "Magmar lets reduce the power of that Surf. Use Sunny Day!" The ugly pokemon nodded and taking a deep breath shot up a massive ball of flames into the sky which imediatly started heating up the area drying up the left ove water from the surf attack.
Knowing that wasn't good Dante frowned slightly befor remembering that Shiva knew Hail. "Oh no you dont." Dante said with a smirk on his face. "Shiva lets cancel that out with Hail!" he comanded, the seal pokemon just clapped her fins together happily befor glowing again and the new 'sun' in the sky was blocked out by a flury of snow and ice appearing out of no where pelting the surrounding area. Unfortutly for Dante he wasn't wearing warm clothes this time and couldn't ignore the cold so he wrapped his arms around himself and danced slighlty on the balls feet in an attempt to stay warm.

((Yeah I feel the same way sometimes Melph))
Mag walked along looking down at the Pokenav when suddenly he was hit smack dab in the face! Fall over and letting out an exclamation he noted a small Zubat fluttering about near the ceiling.
"Well if that is how you're going to be! Go Sunfire, use Ember!" Mag shouted. Sunfire appeared and let out the flames. The Zubat dived down to attack but was sent reeling by the light and heat. It fluttered off just as it came except this time with loud screeching.
"Thanks Sunfire. I guess I should keep my head up." The two continued on till a fork in the tunnel. Glancing down Mag took the left path and went onward to the poor man.

((Hehe thanks whee Just wondering if that guy's gonna accept my bid or what. And I know I don't have to keep posting.. I just want to. Kinda want to get into a scrap myself. domokun ))
Seeing an opportunity to play up Dante's sudden adventure into femininity, he pulled his cape out from his backpack and dashed over to his friend, wrapping the cloth around Dante's shoulders. "Err, please excuse the burnt patches," he shrugged, and retreated back to his position as a spectator. Shivering slightly, the boy glanced up at the sky, amazed on how if they new the right moves, Pokemon could mess with the weather. Almost as if on cute, the small Vulpix came out of his Pokeball, materializing in Keegan's arms. The small fox nestled in closely, intent on helping to keep his trainer warm.
