Chloe nodded, watching Sasha leave for the gym match. "I'm gonna stay here for a little bit, but I might make a quick trip to Fortree to battle Winona," she smiled. "Good luck with Wattson!" she had called, waving.
After a bit of coaxing to get the wary Sneasel from his tree, Chloe settled down for a bit of fishing. She unpacked her Super Rod again from her bag, still not having any bait better than sandwich pieces, she opted for that, searching the lake for telltale shadows of Pokemon.

"Bah, not another one!" Chloe squeaked, struggling with her rod, trying to reel in the giant stingray. Fumbling for a Pokeball for a moment, Entreri sighed, lifting Cael's ball from her belt and handing it to Chloe, eyes narrowing. She'd better not get used to kindness from him...
"Thanks," Chloe grinned thankfully, summoning the Dragonite out.
"Alright Cael, zap 'em with a Thunderbolt!" Chloe called to the dragon, who nodded, charging up a blast from his antennae before frying the Mantine in a single blow.

"Thanks again, Cael," Chloe grinned, reeling in her rod completely before sighing. "We sure do run into a lot of Mantine," she mumbled, sticking her tongue out at the water. "Perhaps we should try some new fishing spots. But first, I think I'm going to get Winona's badge out of the way at least."
Chloe recalled Cael and Entreri, summoning Alkaid out. "Think you can carry us to Fortree again?" she asked the Swablu, who chirruped agreement, before the two took off, wobbling slightly, but Alkaid remaining on course for the town in the trees.
