Shinji followed Lena still, pondering what they could gather to take on a picnic.

Lena moved to the fridge and started gathering things as she said "I'll make some sandwiches... you find some other stuff to take..." she sat all the ingredients on the counter and began putting together sandwiches.

Shinji nodded and took a moment to observe what sort of sandwiches were being made, so he could find something good to go along with it.

After putting together several turkey and ham sandwiches Lena started looking through cabinets for plastic bags.
Once she'd found everything she came to look for Isabella headed off once more.

Liam nodded to himself and decided to go through the fridge for whatever there may be that appealed to him. While in the fridge he laughed to himself. There's a bag of chips in the cupboard, do you want to take those? he asked as he lifted pickles out of the door of the fridge. Do you like pickles? he asked, laughing.

Lena nodded and said "Umm.. yeah.. lets bring 'em..." she pulled a box of plastic bags from the cabinet and moved over to wrap up the sandwiches.

Shinji nodded and laughed, pulling the small jar of pickels out and setting them on the counter. He paused and glanced up towards Isa. Hey...do you tihnk she might want to come? he asked Lena silently.

Lena pulled a basket from one of the lower cabinets and began putting all of the food into it.

Shinji moved to gather the container of strawberries and the bag of grapes he found, along with the small canteloupe and smiled to Lena as he shifted them into the basket as well. You like those, right? he asked in a sheepish tone, leaning close to kiss her shoulder.
