"I...Hmmmm...."The man stayed still.Inside he was fighting with himself,which was evident.He didn't know what to say,or do.He just waited,expecting Kai to be angry.He wanted Than dead,but he didn't know how to deal with it,aside from killing the boy.Slowly his hand moved to one of the knives at his side,it was evident,but slow.

"Forgive me." The man rose,powerfully,and lurched at Than,pushing Kai away from him so that she couldn't be hit.As he aimed to drive the knife deep into Than's heart.He'd use his left hand to hold Than roughly,while his right tried to slam the knife into Than.Afterwards,he'd deal with Kai.

*Than only had one possible defense... his own body. He lets himself fall back before the man could hit and, out of reflex, puts his left arm in the way of the stab. The knife dug clean through Than's arm, breaking the bone, tearing muscle, and leaving little to really connect his left arm to the rest of his body. Than's vision blackens. He couldn't keep himself aleart anymore. He slowly slips into unconsciousness, his left arm barely hanging on and the blade beginning to pierce his chest*

The man pulled his blade free from Than's arm,letting it lay limply,or fall off.Leaning in closely he whispered into the unconcious ear."This is your last warning.Don't try my generosity..."With that said his blade moved quickly to Than's right eye.He pushed the point in deeper,to gouge out Than's right eye by popping it out like a lever.He'd then slit the connceting optic nerve.Then,move to Kai,taking her by the wrist.A tinge of regret was on his face from hurting her,but he'd make it up soon.He'd male it up by making a perfect place."It'll all be ok."

*Than was just limp his left arm now completely severed. His right optic nerve was also cut with the eye remaining useless in the socket*

Shrugging the man lifted Kai and carefully moved her onto a couch.He made sure she was as comfortable as could be before moving back to Than.He looked down at the boy in contempt.As Mastema had done to others,he would do to Than,though he lacked the tools.Leaning down,he moved his blade to the ear that held the earing,aiming to saw it right off.

Xol appeared a few yards from Kaiori's house with a slight frown on his face. Than was inside with Kaiori and someone else. Thanatos's energy was getting lower and Kai seemed to be passed out by her steady aura signature.
"Who's in there?! Than...are you ok?" He shouted as his murky grey aura exploded out of his body and shred the ground at his feet. Large streaks of blood red energy cascaded off the aura as it continued to grow exponentially in power. He was in no mood to play after the beating he took by Mastema's hand.
"Come out, lest I level the whole area..." Xol growled furiously, letting his aura grow in both size and power.

Than: *groans lightly at the feel of his ear being cut. Unfortunately, KB had neglected something*
Zio: *The ear ring bleeps* Initiating shock defense safety measures. *Soon Than's entire body was surged with electricity. Not only was it sort of a protective field around Than, but it also was a method through which to jump start Than's heart again*

"Son of a !!!!!!"The man growled as the shock drove it's way through his mechanical arm.It caused the arm to die,but the rest of him was mostly uneffected.Pulling back from Than he growled.He quickly recovered his blade and guns,then raised his left hand.Using a minor flex of telekenesis,he tried to cause a cyclone of Kai's gems and other things to slam into Than.After which point he vanished,leaving Than in the care of Xol.

Growing impatient, Xol teleported into Kai's house only to spot Than's severed arm, damaged eye, Kai laying on the couch unconcious and a man dissapearing in the corner of his eye.
As he went to speak a cyclone like burst of various items slammed into his back and sent his body flying forward violently. Normally they would have just bounced off, but since he was weakened they did slightly more damage. He came to a stop a foot or so in front of Than, dropping to his knees and gasping for breath in excruciating pain. His face was contorted in pain as well, but he cracked an eye open and looked to Than. "You ok kid?" He asked with a nonchalant grin.

*Than was barely breathing on the couch. His left arm was gone and he was bleeding profusely, his left eye had a bullet lodged it in, the right eye had been severed via optic nerve, he had a stab wound in the chest and back, and a slit throat under a shadow-like bandage. Than's voice was raspy and quiet* Kai.....ori.....san......
