Merc watches and thinks he sees Seth do something really cool, but he can't be sure. He just continues watching as Seth dives to the ground. He stands up, afraid that Seth is hurt but waits a few seconds, not wanting to interrupt if he isn't.

His opponent yells out, "Don't hurt yourself before the tournament, this is just friendly practice."
"It was my set point, I didn't wanna lose it. Besides, this is clay, not hardcourt."
Seth goes back to the baseline and serves, getting a service ace (as in, he gets the point and the opponent didn't even manage to hit it).

Merc sits and relaxes, seeing seth gat back up.

Seth winds up losing, but it's a practice match, adn with the 15th seed, so it isn't all that surprising. The shocking part is that he'd almost one.. in fact he'd had match point at one time. The two players meet at the net and shake hands, and then the other man wraps his arm around seth's shoulder, "That was a bloody good match, Sethos. Trying to give me a run of the money this time, eh?"
"You just watch old man, I'm going to get to the third round this time!"

Merc frowns when the other man puts an arm around Seth. Was seth not straight after all? Maybe not... but this would mean that he was taken... by another tennis player. Merc tries not to feel unhappy... Seth probably wouldn't like a guy like him anyway. He was too weird, just like all the others had said...

Seth thanks the man I'm not going to name from the coutnry I'm also not going to name and goes over to his racket bag, drinking some water while checking to see if he got any messages while he was playing. Which he hadn't. He's a little disappointed since he was hoping merc would phone him soon.

Seeing that Seth is done his practice, Merc walks up behind him. He reaches up and covers Seth's eyes. "Guess who!" he says.

Sethos is surprised but not unpleasantly so, since he recognizes that voice no problem, "Hello, Mercutio."

Merc removes his hands and comes around and grins. "I thought you might be here, so I came here instead of calling. Is that ok?" he asks.

"yeah, you're just lucky I was having a practice match instead of normal training, or else I would have been here a lot longer." Seth stretches a little, and picks up his bag so he can walk aroud a little and cool down properly.
