Katare had not noticed him yet which led Izumi to believe that he had a certain knack for sneaking. He had not thought himself the sneaky sort but if he could complete this exercise with out being detected even once then perhaps he would reconsider this. However this was hardly the time to get too comfortable and cocky. Izumi redoubled his efforts and pushed himself to be even stealthier as he drew nearer. After he had gone five more feet he paused to make sure he was still unnoticed.

Houka suddenly came out of is transe.

*Time to resum training...this time i should master that jutsu.*

He wait for some time to remember the hand sign and then he concentrated his chakra in his body again. Fomring the hand sign in the air, he released is chakra...saying at the same time:

''Henge no jutsu.''

Nothing happen, nothing change on Houka...that means he had failed his attempt again...but he wasn't going to let go. He knew he had almost depleted all of his chakra, but still, he would push himself into limit. Focusing is chakra and forming the hand sign, he let out a loud:

''Henge no jutsu''

DC: 13 Rolled: 19

Cp: 1-2 = 0

Houka didnt knew how much time he had wasted on his meditation. The wind still blow some dust on him. He look around him. asthonish to found his sensei away from him. Still Houka tried to look at the other student but he didnt see him....

*Dam, I'v been meditating for too much...*

''Time to resume training.''

And has he said that, he was concentrating his chakra into his body. He was more confident now. He feel he didnt need to practice the hand sign again. After all, he had memorised them by now. Forming the hand sign has precise as he could, he let go his chakra out and said:

''Henge no jutsu''

Cp: 1-1 = 0

That last attempt on a jutsu had tired Houka, he was now sitting on the hard ground, in his habitual position for meditation.

*So the boy was called Izumi...I wonder if we could be friend? Maybe I could try to convince Katare on going to a ramen restaurant for our hard work? I hardly even know my sensei...*

But his though went away has he focus deep in his meditation.

Izumi managed to keep the Kakuremino up but he must have accidentally made some noise for as soon as he touched the line Katare immediately pointed at him. "Twice in a row... You can do better! But you did make it within 10 feet of me so you pass! Pretty good!" Katare took the blanket from Izumi. "Ok so here's your next jutsu Kawarimi no jutsu. It will allow you to instantly switch places with an object nearby. Watch." Katare made the handsigns and immediately vanished in his place was a rock. Katare was behind Izumi. "It's pretty handy for dodging attacks and confusing your opponents. So when you perform the jutsu 3 times come tell me understand?"

Izumi nodded and performed the handsigns just as Katare had shown him and used his chakra to, hopefully switch places with the rock.

Feeling his chakra return to him Izumi stood and began his second attempt at the jutsu. As he performed the handsigns he noticed it felt somewhat easier this time. "Kawarimi No Jutsu!"

When he felt his chakra return Izumi immediately got to his feet eager to complete the excerise and see what else Katare had to teach him. He performed the handsigns as he had done the last two times. "Kawarimi No Jutsu!"
