The dragon looks up with a small frown, "What are you two whis-grk!" He stumbles back a step as Batty tackle hugs him, somehow managing to put his plate on the counter before dropping it. "... Uh, hi?"

"And that's my que to shuffle off." Minty attempted to stand up and move away from Daenes, to giver the elf the space to do what she needed to do. She didn't make it very far, the next particularly plush looking rug, she lay face down.
"Yup." She said into the carpet fibers, "This is good. This shall be my new kingdom of dreams."
Monster listened to his story, and wanted to make comments here and there, but he sure is a quick talker. Watching as he slumped to the ground, Monster sat down beside him.
"Well... first off, have you ever tried painkillers or something for those migraines?" He didn't know what the man had tried, but still maybe it was worth bringing up? "And who cares if the elf likes Gypsy? Most people aren't one-note cardboard cut-outs, even cold shoulders like Daenes. I don't get how that's surprising."
He sighed and looked him in the eyes. "I don't want to assume, but I really think you're making this into more than it has to be. Try your best to not piss off the lady that steals people's souls for a living. And if you can't, and it really gets so bad that you go berserk, take it from a werehog, I'll get you out of there and somewhere where you can't hurt anyone." He stood up and held out his paw to help him up. "Okay?"

He slowly hugs the bat back. "I can see that, but... Why?" He glances over at Lady Luck, wondering if she had put Batty up to this.

He stood up and held out his paw to help him up. "Okay?"
"Every kind I could get my hands on. I found out from a sage in a village I once stopped in that they're magic of some kind." Xashowd replied. "But that was all he knew. I'd since accepted them, so I stopped looking for answers..." Xashowd responded to Monster's next statement. "True, but I'd never seen it in the first five minutes. Seems it doesn't take much..." He hung his head. He was sure it was going to be the end of him one of these days.
Then Monster's next statement hit him, and he looked up at the man...er, werehog. Someone genuinely willing to look out for him, a Vampire who'd been hunted simply because of what he was. Someone who found strength in an element others had mocked him for.
That hadn't happened since...
Xashowd pushed the past away. He'd buried that part of his life, it didn't belong here anymore.
He looked up at Monster and smiled. "Okay. And thank you..." Xashowd replied, taking Monster's paw.
Ah, fancy pants magic causing the migraines, he should have guessed. Unfortunately he wasn't knowledgeable on magic, but he had plenty of friends who were, so he would have to ask around. For now though, he smiled and helped the vampire back up to his feet. "Hey, no problem. No one's an island, right?" He looked down the corridor for any grunnies, but it seemed the majority must be in hiding due to the lights being on.
"I do need to stretch my legs a little more, wanna take a stroll, see if the coast is clear for everyone else?"
(It's bedtime for me, I'll respond later.)

[I'm hoping to have this event over by Tuesday, so think about wrapping up any unfinished business you may still have.]

He smirks, "Maybe I just want a hug from you too, my lady." The two many not admit it, but he would still suspect it.

*I'm getting sleepy too. See you tomorrow, then!*
Xashowd nodded. He'd been on his own for so long after the fall of Seraphos...sure, he called his friends sometimes, but it wasn't the same as having them there. With that in mind, Xashowd made a note to call Darxian and see what he knew about the Migraines. It was way past time to put them to rest.
"Yeah, and I'm gonna need to stay as far from Daenes as I can...at least until I get these migraines removed, then it won't be an issue any longer." Xashowd replied to Monster's offer. With most of the Grunnies dealt with, Xashowd had forgotten they could still be a threat, even in dwindled numbers. Until the guild was cleared of Grunnies, there could be no true rest.
Feeling more focused than before, Xashowd went with Monster to scan the halls.
