Dimitri was sleeping on one of the couches in the common room, recuperating from his previous mission, a mission that was supposed to be a vacation. His backpack which was filled with items could be seen wrapped around his back. Next, Dimitri awoke from his nap and jumped to his feet seconds after Archie walked in. Shortly after, Dimitri adjusted the holsters on his belt before he rushed outside to regroup with the others. Upon arriving on the beach outside of the Hideout, Dimitri looked around and took out his TADS once he noticed that no one was there. "Yo! Did I miss out on any of the fun?" Dimitri used his TADS to send a message to Maddy. Following this, Dimitri began to run off away from the beach in an attempt to locate the rest of the group.

Thorn was somewhat distracted, helping Rosie up the rocky path, when his TADS began to buzz. He was only able to reach into his bag before the situation became apparent. Fire Pokemon literally rained down from the wires of the cable cars. He stepped to one side, shielding his partner from the coming haze of monsters. Well, this was great... at least it was another time to practice! He called out his Feebas; said Pokemon had learned the best way to settle on the ground with looking like a complete flailing nutjob. "Selkie, Scald! That one!"

He'd motioned to the rather irritated Cyndaquil, currently hissing at the group. It lunged right at the Feebas with a Tackle.

On land, Selkie wasn't terribly graceful. She couldn't dodge, but the hit wasn't too bad. With a grumble, she spat water right at the Cyndaquil, knocking him off his feet. Between the super-effective attack, and the STAB, it was a simple one-hit knockout!

But they weren't quite done-- a Slugma lurched forward, yellow eyes somewhat intimidating. It appeared to be hissing as well... but actually, that was the water from Selkie's attack burning up off the lava of it's body.

Deciding to spread the battling goodness, he recalled his Feebas, and sent out one of his newer acquistions-- a Spoink. Lulu bounced, chuckling at the Slugma. "Power Gem!" came the order, and the giggling psychic-type complied. Her pink energy surrounded the rocks around her, and she sent them slamming into the lava-slug.

It was strong, but not enough to down him. The Slugma stare balefully, and spat an Ember right at her.

It burned her, but that wasn't enough. Undeterred, the Spoink continued bouncing, a Cheshire smile on her lips. Under Thorn's orders, she'd used an Extrasensory. The psychic attack overloaded his brain, making him faint with shock. Well, that was that!

Yamato felt hot all of sudden. When he looked around, he saw a Slugma. He threw out a Pokéball to fight
"Let's go, Dora"
The Aron appeared after the light surrounding it had faded. Yamato scanned him using TADS to see what moves he could use
"Ok, Dora, use Mud Slap"
But the Aron ignored his command and charged at his opponent with a Headbutt. The attack hit it and slammed it to a nearby tree.
"Eh? What are you doing? You're suppose to listen to me"
Dora continued to ignor him and charged at the Slugma. But the Slugma got up and fired at him an Ember. The attack made Dora lost his focus and stopped his Headbutt.
"Can you please listen to me for once?" Yamato shouted out
Again, Dora continued ignoring him and Headbutt the Slugma again, knocking it out.
Thinking that he had won, the Aron felt proud of himself that he didn't notice a Numel was attacking him with an Ember. He turned around and readied to fight, but Yamato returned him.
"Geez, enough already. I'll talk to you later. Let's go, Zeni"
The turtle appeared, awaiting his Trainer's command.
"Zeni, use Rapid Spin"
The turtle withdrawed into his shell and spinned rapidly at the Numel. The fire type shot some Ember at him, but because he was inside his shell and having type advantage, the attack didn't damage him much. The spinning shell hit the camel and knocked it to the ground.
"Use Water Gun immediately to finish it"
The Squirtle did as what he was told, and the Numel fainted right away because its type was really weak against Water

Rosie skipped up the mountain, content to hold her Thorn's hand as they followed behind his Allen guy. Hmm, she didn't remember him! Maybe she needed to introduce herself? And Thorn! It would be nice to make some more friends... but her thoughts were interrupted by all the Fire Pokemon. Where had they come from? Well, this was Mt. Chimney, but...

Well, no time for those kinds of thoughts. Turning so that she was back-to-back with Thorn (they must have looked so cool!) she called out Kei. Her little orange otter wiggled, tail right in the air. A Darumaka bouncing in fron to them, staring expectantly. Confidentially, Lily yelled "Aqua Jet!" He nodded and shot forward, bouncing right into his chubby red opponent. The attack was strong, but wouldn't quite not the stumbling punch-drunk fighter. The Darumaka laughed a bit, before his eyes lit up red and lunged forward using Rage! It hit Kei, but it wasn't too much for the Buizel to stand. Grinning, Rosie struck a pose. "Aqua Jet, one more time!" It was enough to knock the poor Darumaka completely unconscious. One down!

Her gaze met the next Pokemon, a somewhat dignified and curious looking Growlithe. Getting an idea, she returned her Buizel, and sent out Vale. The Poochyena hissed, glaring at the other dog. The feeling was mutual it seemed, as the Growlithe snarled back. Rosie pointed. "Bite!" They both lunged at each other, teeth bared. The Growlithe was slightly faster, sinking his teeth hard into Vale fur, but Vale's bite was enough to make the Growlithe stumble back and flinch. It was a critical hit, even! As the Growlithe stumbled, yelping and still eager for the fight, Rosie got an idea. She picked up one of her Ultra Balls, and threw it at the Growlithe. One... Two... Three... ding! She picked it up, bouncing, while Vale sulked. Giving her Poochyena a scratch on the ear, they turned to Thorn, grinning.

Cody nodded. An uneasy feeling made his stomach drop, and he grew speechless. He had a lot to say, and all of a sudden, it was gone. Archie was going to flood the world, and they were nothing but his pawns in this deed. Where was their future in all of this? How would those of Aqua survive? For now, though, he would do what he was told until a better plan was hatched. He pulled a ball from his pocket and ran up to the cliff where the fire pokemon stood.

"Celeste, let's go!" Cody shouted, watching the pokemon flop around the ground as it emerged from its pokeball. The fire pokemon attacking the cable car paid his voice no mind.
"Celeste, Water Pulse!" the boy called to the Feebas, pointing at a Charmeleon who seemed to be heading a good portion of the operation. The fish conjured up a high pressured blast of water and fired it at the Charmeleon's back, sending it flying forward.
The dragon turned around, digging its claws into the ground to steady itself before using its upper body strength to blast toward the Feebas, smashing into her hard for a good deal of damage and sending her flying. Utilizing the power of her Mystic Water, she struggled to flop around again, using the rest of her strength to create an overwhelming wave of water to overcome the flaming Charmeleon. A Brine attack was just what the fish pokemon needed to K.O. her opponent. Cody cheered, returning his pokemon as another fire type confronted him.

The boy called upon Fraxure who stood beside him to fight. "Fraxure, take out that Camerupt!" his trainer called. Fraxure stuck his claws into the ground and quickly started digging, burrowing under the Camerupt. The fire pokemon looked around, confused, and reacted by quickly stomping around on the ground, causing the earth to shake violently.
Cody could hear Fraxure cry out in pain as the Earthquake caused the ground to crash around him. The dragon still managed to pop out under Camerupt, hitting it hard. The fire type went flying into the sky and landed on its side. Fraxure landed on the ground in front of its trainer, huffing an puffing, trying to draw breath into its damaged body.
The fire type struggled to its feet, flailing around before launching a deadly blast of fire in Fraxure's direction. The pokemon tried to dodge, but was too slow, obviously struggling from its wounds. Fraxure took the hit, and seemed to harness the energy long enough to dish it back in some sort of counter-attack. Its fist glowed with a dark energy as it ran toward the Camerupt, hitting it with a Payback that packed the punch of the fire type's last attack.
Camerupt took the blow and wobbled around. Before the fire type collapsed and fainted, Cody pulled a pokeball from his bag and tossed it, the ball encapsulating the nearly fainted pokemon and dropping to the ground to shake. Once. Twice. Three times. Ding. The ball quickly evaporated into thin air as the pokemon was deposited into the PC.
Cody pulled potions from his bag and used them on both Fraxure and Celeste before returning both of his pokemon and returning to the group.

Allen climbed in, rather than taking a seat he stood. His mouth moved from side to side as he chewed at the inside of his cheeks. Two Pokemon down, and he only had one Pokemon... He'd have to plan his next battles carefully, especially since attempting to avoid a battle with Team Magma would be futile. The least he could do was use a Potion on his Frogadier, since Kabuto most likely wouldn't be battling anymore on this trip.

Cody pulled the necessary items from his pack. "I've got a Paralyz Heal, Dark," the boy nudged him, the healing item sitting in his hand. "Maybe you can pay me back with a Lava Cookie or two," he joked.
