Gaia is seriously getting annoying in regards to trying to get people to throw real world money at them. Apparently the 8+ announcements per day (which I stopped even checking anymore since it's never anything important, just all SPEND YOUR MONEY bullshit) wasn't enough because now they're sending me PMs to ask for money. I haver received more spam from Gaia than I have from other users in all my years here!!
...And why are bugs and inks so expensive now?!

not to mention the inflation is crippling. I thought I had a lot of gold when I have 3mil but that definitely cannot buy you much of anything anymore. Seriously, a new item comes out and it is 300mil? Seriously? I'm certainly stuck with this avi considering I cannot afford anything else unless I spend real money!

I remember when 300k-400k could buy you a super-coveted KiKi Kitty Plushie, and green grass skirts (at a lofty price of 3k!) were like a staple of any female avatar.
I finally saved up 3mil just now and I was all like "oh boy maybe I can buy something fancy!" But 3mil can't buy anything anymore, except you know, the comparatively shitty items from gold shops. Seriously... I felt good sending money for donation items... But now "monthly collectibles" have even hit the back burner.

the amount of gold being thrown around is mind boggling. I feel bad for the new gaians. I've been around long enough to get a modest amount of gold but I only have 3mil at the moment. Not counting the items I am currently wearing. What will that get me? One mediocre item probably. I remember when MC items would come out and be 100k-300k when first on the marketplace... and that was relatively recently.

That was just like a year ago when the MC were at like a mil max--depending on popularity of choice. But yeah, just barely hit four million myself and the really good items I want are like quadruple the amount of what I have. It's crazy stuff and I don't like it.
Also don't like the fact that you can't disable the Money-Sucking announcements.

It's just been a slow and painful process. And yeah, it is definitely driving me crazy, not being able to get my brain focused on more enjoyable things. It is definitely still a work in progress. Now, to just get my characters back to life in my brain. >.>

And I finally finished some characters I started working on back in January! @_@ Anyone interested in Mei-Lin and Jin-Tai? I do so love doing siblings, for some reason, lol. Especially since these two promise some cuteness in the future... Especially little Mei-Lin.

So I'm slowly working on a Master to throw up
I've just been putting it off because I'm not sure if there are any slaves available who would be good for him ^^;
I could care less about romance in the pairing, so they can be any gender, all I really require is that his paired character knows how to fight (and is not anything of a death-deity-like-thing, for realistic story reasons >.>)
I miiiiight not actually post him until, like, mid-April. Because exams :/
