I was kinda high when that happened. When we first started dating, I had a bit of a drug problem. I'm better now, but back then, it was an issue. I was close to being kicked out of the band."

After I was brought back, I didn't feel the addiction as strongly, so I assumed the trauma of dying had trumped it once and for all, and I've been totally clean since then."

Now I can get you addicted to oranges like me." he said with a beaming smile, though something in his tone hinted that he was serious. " When did you fall in love with me, anyway?" he asked. He had a feeling he had heard the answer before, but it was nice to hear again now and then.

Ethan said. His blue eyes slowly traveled to Clementine. " I think I fell in love with you all over again when you got her." he smiled and tried to whistle her over, only to blow out a silent stream of air. He paused and tried again, getting the same result. " How do you whistle?" he asked after another failed attempt.

" Purse your lips, curl your tongue a little on the bottom of your mouth, and blow," he said before following his own instructions and whistling a clear, high note.

He shot him a glare when he heard the whistled tone but reluctantly did as he was told. He puckered his lips a little and tried to curl his tongue, and when he blew all that came out was a dry raspberry. " You lied to me!" he accused and crossed his arms in a huff.

He waved a hand dismissively, then walked over to the kitchen for a glass of water. " Speaking of, I was thinking that you and I could take a bubble bath tonight. Nothing sexual, just to relax and spend time alone together. How does that sound?"
