Angela flushed when he suddenly woke up, her entire body lighting up. "I was not!" she hissed. "You were...laying there half naked. It was indecent. I was just trying to think of how I could cover you up without waking you up."

She was such a terrible liar. Gah! Damn him and his perfect looks. Just looking at him made her wonder how he could even stand to be beside her. He was beautiful and perfect and she was just...short and pale and funny looking. She grabbed the blanket and quickly moved to pull it over him. Not that it would do any good. That image was permanently burned into her retinas.

Angela only barely managed to bite back a surprised squeak when Abel grabbed her. "You are...disturbingly good at manhandling females," she said, swallowing nervously. The last time he'd done this, he thought she was Ayu. And his shirt hadn't been unbuttoned. Why was it suddenly so hot in the infirmary?

"I...I'm not anything like that, short hair or not," she said, helplessly, not even able to look away from his face. He was just making fun of her as usual. Definitely. But it still made her feel like her body had been turned completely inside out and set on fire. Okay, all she had to do to get control of this situation again was pretend to be confident. She opened her mouth to snap out something witty but she had nothing. Her mind was completely blank.

Darn it! It wasn't fair that he could do this to her so easily and she didn't have the same effect on him. This was some sort of cruel punishment--karma or divine retribution or something.

Angela was definitely going to explode. Or implode. Or both. He was...what was he doing to her hand? And then he suddenly collapsed. On top of her.

Ow.

"A-Abel?" she whispered. She worked her hand free and stroked his hair gently. "Abel!" He didn't move. Angela managed to sort of wriggle her way free after several minutes, and carefully rolled him over. When she touched his forehead, she realized instantly he had a high fever. She instantly panicked. "Abel! Abel!?"

He wasn't answering. She was just about to run and get whoever was lurking in Javor's office when the light suddenly turned on, stinging Angela's eyes.

Seconds later, an unfamiliar woman appeared, her expression worried. But she smiled when she saw Angela. "Don't worry. My name is Chloe and I'm the replacement for the previous doctor. Please step back so I can examine him."

"He just collapsed," Angela said, worriedly.

Chloe paused and set her hands on Angela's shoulders. "It's alright. I'll take care of him. Why don't you sit there. It's alright if you stay." Chloe set about checking Abel's vitals, noting the high fever. She frowned slightly. Exhaustion, perhaps. Though, for the time being, she should work on bringing the fever down. "Actually, please help me get him covered," Chloe said, realizing she wasn't going to have the strength to do it herself. Angela nodded, and together, they rolled him over and partially covered him. Chloe went to get a bowl of water and a cloth He wouldn't be able to drink anything if he wasn't awake, so they would use this method for now.

She carried the bowl back to the table and wet the cloth, setting it on his forehead. "For now, continue to do this," she told Angela as she went to pull his shoes off. "I'll mix up a medicine for him, but he wont' be able to take it until he wakes up."

Angela nodded and moved closer to the bed so she could keep any on him and change out the cloth when it got warm.

Chloe went to find the ingredients for something that would bring his fever down.



((Angela's head implodes. And then she's crushed by the dead weight of a man twice her size.

Also, these two spend ALL their time in the infirmary. LoL. With one of them sick or injured. Does he just have exhaustion basically? ))

Jukka nodded in response to Chloe and put the things inside the extra pocket of his guitar case. He then watched as two more students came in... Abel and.... was there a new boy at school? Wait. It was Angela! Holy s**t! Jukka couldn't believe it, what happened to her hair!?

He decided not to ask.

And because Abel was there he decided to not even acknowledge them. He sighed and hopped down from the bed, quietly sneaking to the door and leaving.
