Another commission piece down, and only a LOT to go!



Alright so all of those have been kicked over and over and over... To be honest I don't even have a clue what Elzee Razz would be good at. Typically in D&D settings she's a Bard or a Sorcerer. Someone that uses their natural charm to manipulate her enemies and make her plenty of friends. However mind effecting powers in an FFRP setting are hard to do, considering the rules of most RP's/Godmode/Puppeting/ect...

Anyways, I've been re-reading/watching Bleach like crazy lately, and I've been going over a lot of Bleach Wiki just to get myself all freshened up. Is the character progression the same is it's been since forever?

Yeah all of it, I mean normally when I was gaining character strength with Buru I did so through gaining ranked seats in squad seat try-outs.

Then there was like this... guild wide captain RP competition. The winners of the matches were given choice of the squads they wanted to lead. I think my three choices were... 3rd Squad, 12th Squad, and 5th Squad.

Is there an actual way to gain experience/rank now?

Yeah, pretty much all the Squads could use new, reliable members. So any you pick should have somewhere to put you.

But from my experience, it depends on how much time you put into actually RPing interactively. We still have seat competitions (hasn't been one in a while) which usually will prove the winner to be stronger so obviously that victory is counted as progress.
But squad seats really just show your capability as an active and capable member. The power gaps are normally just assumed.

But it depends on who your Captain is, or what the Crew decides to do to fill Captain positions. Sometimes it's a vote, sometimes it's more practical.

But you know... the more you do combat and learn from it the stronger you'll get regardless... so it really just comes down to if you have your eye on a particular seat, or if you are putting effort in to go as far as you can.

So really, gaining experience depends on how actively you RP with others and how much effort you put into your posts too. And gaining rank depends on whether your Captain thinks you meet the standard or if the Crew thinks you can handle being a Captain.

But if a Competition is what you're looking for, you'll have to take that up with the appropriate person(s).

I hope it actually made sense, because I read it back to myself and I felt I just went in circles.

Alright time to reply to a few RP's then to start working on Elzee Razz. Not knowing which squad I'll be part of I can't really work on powers and abilities but I can get a personality and part of her bio done.

Profile skeletons are located here if you need to review it. It's a basic outline so don't be afraid to deviate a bit here and there while adding a bit more to it.

As for squads needing new members, yes the majority of the squads could use new members. Some have active members that just tend to post outside of their squad like I do. But most squads will respond to new rps fairly quickly. Once I have my personal life settled a bit I shall be starting a few more rps; either hollow patrols, raids against the quincy, some progression in the science research and development, or -if I can get my bio finished for the character- some movements against the sereitei by rouge shinigami.
