Eric tossed and turned as he slept. He wakes to drink his medicine then holds Sonja's hand next to his cheek as he rested. He was getting weaker. The teleporting was too much strain on him.

The twins go play. Kingston says "yes I once taught Peter in school. I was his professor when he was learning medicine."

The twins follow Sophia to play in her room. "Wow you have a lot of nice things." They play with her and her toys.

Eric smiles weakly as Sonja cradles him. It was so nice to be with someone he loved. "I am sure Peter and Kingston will be able to help me soon." he said hopefully.

Peter and Kingston go back to their testing as they make the right formula to cure the virus.

"Wow you made the toys? You did a good job." said Aki. Yuki says "Eric made us little bears. We have big ones at home. Our friend Alex is watching them for us."


Eric tells Sonja "I am fine you don't need to fuss."

Peter and Kingston get close on their experiments. "I think this one might be close." says Kingston. Peter nods "I hope this works."

The twins say "That would be fun! You can come play with our bears. We don't have much toys but I am sure we can have things to play in the house. Sonja made us an ice rink for Christmas. We can show you how to skate!"

Peter and Kingston come up with a formula late in the night. They decide that it might work. They would test it on Eric. They go to Eric's house and give him the formula. "We are not sure but it looks like it should work. We are going to have you try it first since you are stronger than some of the others who are really sick." Peter injects Eric with the formula and they wait.

Eric nods and lets Peter experiment on him. He rests after the injection. As he did, his fever got worse and Peter and Kingston worried that he might be rejecting the cure as his angel immune system might be rejecting the cure.

The twins explained that ice was what happens to water when it freezes and that you could were special shoes to stand on the ice and move around gliding on top. "But you have to wear warm clothes or it gets cold!" they said. "Do you have horses here? We go ride on ponies. They are little horses. That is fun too."

Eric got pale and started to burn up. Peter monitored his heart and vitals as Kingston got ice packs for him to cool his head. "Hang in there." Peter said to Eric. Eric nods as his eyes kind of glaze over. Kingston puts the ice pack on his head and fans him with his wing creating a breeze. After a couple of hours Eric's fever finally breaks and he sleeps as Kingston changed out the ice pack. Peter brings cool towels to wipe away his sweat. Peter whispers to Sonja "I think he may be out of the woods. Now we just need to wait and see if the medicine worked and is starting to kill off the virus within him." Peter takes a blood sample to test to see if the cells are changed or not.

Eric sleeps soundly as the medicine in his body fights the virus. He starts to cool off and gets chills. Peter goes to take Eric's blood sample back to the lab and see if it is working well. Kingston bring warm towels for Sonja to wipe the sweat off him then Kingston finds warm blankets to put on him to warm him. "That is a good sign. The fever has broken." says Kingston.

The twins wondered so they asked Sophia's mommy, "Only angels are alive here? Are dead people and animals alive too or are they just spirits? We only met angels here like you and your mom, Peter, Eric, Kingston and Sonja is half angel. We didn't die when we came here."

Peter was very excited as he tested Eric's blood. It seemed that it worked! He goes running back to Eric's house. "It worked!" he whispers as Eric sleeps. "The virus is dying!" Kingston shakes Peter's hand. "We did it."


The twins think about what Sophia's mommy said. They did not understand really but then they decided to go with Sophia to see the spirit ponies. "If they are like spirits then you can't ride them? Well they will be like our friends the ponies at home though. We can talk to them."

"Oh,..." the twins said. They wondered if the ponies liked carrying them or not. The ponies they rode seemed to like it but they would as them next time if they liked it or would just like to go for a walk together to make sure. They didn't want to hurt the ponies. The twins went to pet the ponies with Sophia. "Hello." they said to the ponies as they went to pet them. "We are Aki and Yuki."

Peter nods "Okay. Kingston can help me make more of the formula and I will get the other angels to help care for the angles that are sick to help them with the fever." Kingston hugs Sonja "Thank you for helping with the formula. I know you and the twins did not have to help." He turns to leave and says "I think you and Eric will make a nice couple." he says with a small smile and a wink. They leave Sonja to care for Eric.
