XXX[Basic Chakra Training: Meditate - 1/5]

Light golden hues directed at her cousin, Aya watched as Kazuki sigh in disappointment before going into a set of deep thoughts. Eyes still on her cousin, Aya would watch as a shine took to his eyes when his mind finally settled onto something. When asked about her opinion on meditating, Ayaka could only shrug. "Sure...I guess..." Mimicking her cousin, Ayaka would allow for Pan to get up while she repositioned herself into a more comfortable position. Watching Kazuki attempt at achieving a state of mental piece first, Aya easily spotted the deep concentration and struggle made apparent on his face. 'Looks difficult...' Frowning a bit, Ayaka was more then ready to delay her attempt but figuring that she didn't have much else to do, she might as well give it a go.

Eyes fluttering close, Ayaka would take long steady breaths through her nose and out through slightly parted lips. Repeating this several times through, Ayaka did her best to clear her mind and relax her body. Relaxing her outer body was the easy part. Clearing her thoughts not so much. Recalling how Kazuki was going through handseals, Ayaka decided to try that as well. Starting with the 'hare', Ayaka would switch to another handsign every four breaths.

Shi shrugged softly. "Oh Roku is good. He's strong, fast and resourceful. So is the girl he is fighting though to be fair. I fought her myself and got my a** handed to me. Either way this is going to be quite the interesting battle. My bugs have already feasted upon chakra today, so they're really rather content. Which is good...I hate it when they wriggle around in there."

Taka remained quite calm as koshi jump off the roof and into the nearby trees. However she had another idea. She formed the single hand seal and replaced herself with the entire mass of oil she left on the field. She needed most of it to make up the mass of her small frame. The oil would drop and splash across the roof making it slick as grease. He would be hard pressed to alter his direction at his speed."s**t...hes serious..." She melted into the bushes near the field to wait for the reactions.

[Basic Chakra Training: Meditate 2/5]
Pan resigned herself to licking clean her paws, her tongue running over the rough pads on her paws. Kazuki was practically blue with strain before he released his pent up breath. He had seriously tried to work hard and focus, but kept getting distracted. Kaz muttered bad words to himself as he repositioned his body, once more entering a meditative state. He put his hands in the 'ram' seal and tried once more. Within his mind, he tried hard to feel for his chakra. Kazuki furrowed his eyebrows as he concentrated, reminding himself to steady his breathing.

Deep inside of him something stirred, and he grew excited. Kazuki pushed within his mind to grab a hold of the feeling inside and bring it upward. He reached deep within his body and focused with all of his being. A loud growl erupted into the room as Kazu clutched his stomach. He fell to his side on the floor and pouted, unable to continue. "So...hungry..." He said, making a grabbing motion to the food that was nearby...conveniently. Pan huffed once and rose to her paws, making it a point to climb over Kazuki on her way to the food. She hopped on top of the table, her long tail dangling just above the ground as she bent her head down and grabbed the pre-prepared sandwich. Pan hopped off of the table and headed back to Kazu. His eyes were closed and his tongue stuck out of his mouth, as if he had comically died. Not that death was funny... Pan dangled the sandwich just before his nose, awaking the 'unconscious' Kazuki. He raised only his head and with a look akin to the fierceness of a samurai snapped his jaws onto the sandwich. Pan and Kaz pulled the sandwich in separate directions, ripping it in half. Kazu devoured his meal fit for a king in a heart beat, feeling instantly rejuvenated. He sat back down on the floor and slammed his hands together in the 'snake' seal as he meditated with renewed gusto.

°•~ Roku saw that she had substituted. Oil now appeared where she was. Instead of running through it, he jumped as soon as it hit the roof. He jumped into the nearby trees. She had used a substitution jutsu. So the only logical place she could be was back in the field, most likely hiding. So he jumped off the trees and rounded the building and melded again hit the ground. If she was in the nearby brush, she would be now. Another forest of bone popped out all nearby there as well as in it.

From there, if she popped out, he would immediately launch 2 kunai at her position and then rush her again with his speed. If she wasn't to be so good about coming out. he would meld into his bones where he could find her like that and easily be able to catch her off guard. ~°•

Ichi stopped training to take a look at the spar that was going on. The other genin seemed to be capable and seemed to be just as well trained as he was. "Hm, they're really good..." he stated as he seemed to be interested in their style of combat along with watching their movements. As he watched he could tell that they were really getting into it. It was a battle that could almost go either way. "My bets are on oil girl..." he told himself as he watched as she seemed to use some really good ideas and skills to cover he weaknesses.

But the guys he was fighting was no push over. The ability he showed the work with the situation was good. "I'd hate to have to fight that guy sparring or not..." he told himself as he seemed to be a bit serious in that statement as his eyes followed every movement the two made. Ichi was tapping his foot as he watched, he was getting a bit excited and wanted to start sparring now.

From her position She watched him. She calmly pulled out a bottle and placed it to her lips drinking a generous amount of liquid. and re-corked the container. She silently drew two senbon from their sheathes and simply staggered out of the bushes, rosy faced and glassy eyed. "Koshi...go sit with the Aburame. "she said rather well as she staggered about the field, but keeping away from the ones sprouted too and fro from the ground Koshi ran off and looked as if it bowed to the lady before climbing into her lap..

Shi shrugged again ever so slightly. "Well I'm not exactly up to par with where I want to be ye-" She was cut off by the ferret jumping into her lap, she stroked it's soft fur and scratched behind it's ear affectionately. "Hey there little guy. Come to hang out with me and my bugs huh? You sure are a cute little fella." She picked him up into a cuddle, going all girly.

°•~ Roku threw kunai as soon as the bushes rustled. So when she staggered out, she would see the kunai. As he closed the gap between himself and her, he was only about 5 feet from her when he fired off the distal phalanges from his fingers again directly into her stomach. From there he would jump directly sideways and fire the other distal phalanges of his hand at her from a different angle. The first phalanges going in straight line. The other phalanges firing off in a upper fashion to the side to prevent her from jumping back, to the side, or up without getting hit, not to mention she would first have to dodge the first two kunai he had thrown.

From this he jumped back from it all and waited. With his speed as it was there was no problem now. But his gates were running low, he would have to move into the next gate soon or else he would risk losing his biggest advantage over her. And with as exhausted as he would be from activating the gate, she would have a huge upper hand after it was all said and done. ~°•

Taking one kunai into her shoulder,Which at this point she didnt really feel Taka rolled back when the thing was suddenly in her face. She bridged her back as she saw the blurs of something nearly on top of her. He was fast but she could manage to track him. As the bones passed over her she dropped to the ground and would attempt to scissor her legs around his ankles. If she was successful her back leg would come up to meet the back of his skull. then she realized the kunai had been flung. Was this guy going all out in a spar? Regardless she would then roll ofut through the bushes in the most comical fashion possible. She looked at him and seemed slightly upset. "What happened to the blunted practice s**t...."She poked her self with a senbon to emphasize the point and ended up piercing her arm a little."Ow..."


Fallen Drunk

The fallen drunk is ground-fighting, simply put. It's ground-fighting for the drunken master, however. The user practices fighting while knocked down, whether they're on all fours or flat on the back, if they aren't standing up then they're on the ground. The user will practice basic spastic strikes, a common staple of the style, in an attempt to keep the opponent from gaining an edge. There's no move that's off-limits. Throwing sand, biting, gouging, groin kicks, anything goes.

Drunk Dropper

A simple combo, normally learned after the Drunk Dance. The user simple belts out a quick one-two combo, but this combo isn't specific in what is involved in the one-two combo. Rather, it allows the student to learn and adapt that unpredictable nature this style is famed for. In the hands of a novice, a stepping stone, but in the hands of a master this is a useful teaching method, if not a useful combo.



Drunken Counterblow
Simple :: Rank C
The user takes a stance resembling that of a Muay Thai fighter. Every attack thrown at them has the ability to be countered from this stance, with either a quick snap kick or any combination of punches. Takes timing and training, but useful once mastered.

As Ayaka focused, she would try to tap into her chakra as she held each hand sign. With each change she could feel a light stir. It was so light that she would barely fill it if she was not giving it the utmost of attention. 'Wow...meditation is so much more perplex then I thought...' Changing from her tiger sign into a dragon sign, Ayaka was ready to attempt at a more noticeable stirring of chakra when she heard Kazuki uttered some bad words that Ayaka knew better than to mimic. Eyes fluttering open for only a bit, Ayaka would look to Kazuki as he tried once more by placing his hands in a 'ram' seal and closing his eyes. Glad to see her cousin somewhat at peace again, Ayaka would return to her own meditation as she snapped closed her eyelids. Mind drawing to the depths of the darkness, Ayaka projected herself into a dark space which was to be the confines of her mind. Steadying her grip on the seal, Ayaka did her best to call upon a fluid flow of chakra. Her projection of her would begin to scope through the darkness but nothing. Trying harder, Ayaka was soon met with a flickering light. Smiling, Ayaka would make her way towards it only to be brought awake by the sound of someone falling followed shortly by talking.

Eyes opening, Ayaka would see Kazuki on the floor pouting and protesting over his 'hunger'. Feeling a sudden heat rush to her face, Ayaka could only sigh as Pan took the inicitive to go and grab for Kazuki a sandwich. "Kazu-ni..." Her voice came out more pleading then planned as she watched Kazuki and Pan rip the food in half simply by pulling it in separate directions. She understood her cousin's need for food but was it necessary to procure some in such a flashy display.

[Basic Chakra Training: Meditate 3/5]
Kazuki folded his arms over his chest as he huffed in anger. How anyone ever managed to sit in the same position for hours and do nothing other than think of nothing was beyond him. This was no way for him to meditate. With extreme youth, he hopped up and landed on the balls of his feet. Pan lifted herself up and padded along next to Kazu as his long strides carried him a few steps away. Kazuki rolled his shoulders once and jumped up and down a bit, shaking his hands. Then Kazuki entered a horse stance, and widened it as far as he could without falling over. Pan turned back and headed to Ayaka, preferring to not get kicked in the face on accident.

Kazuki put both of his arms at his side, hands in fists and fingers pointing up. A serene expression washed over his entire body as he prepared himself for his own personal brand of meditation. Kaz took in a deep breath, and began a simple series of stances. As he moved, Kazu closed his eyes, trying to feel his chakra inside of him. He pictured his body as a simple container, and the chakra as water. With each kick and punch, Kaz felt his own control growing even if it was slight. Pan's eyes moved back and forth as Kazu twisted and turned, showing a flexibility most men did not possess. His body was not built for brute strength, but for speed and agility.
