[If he had to admit one thing about himself tonight, Cloverpaw would say that he was still a little groggy. All his training had been bleeding his energy dry lately, and sleeping had become a must if he were to be functional the next day. So when Purepaw came and went, the tabby tom barely noticed her. He shrugged inwardly.]
I'll just apologize some other time...
[And just then, Cinderstreak (Night) padded up to him and Stonepaw. They seemed to be in an interesting conversation, especially since Cloverpaw practically jumped when he heard that Stonepaw's former mentor had died. The large apprentice guessed that she seemed happy with her current one, though. Looking up at Cinderstreak, Cloverpaw nodded in greeting.]
"Yeah, uh, Mapleleaf if my mentor," he meowed awkwardly, using his tail to gesture to his mentor who sat somewhat far away, but her calico pelt was unmistakable, "And you must be...Cinderstreak? Some of our warriors mentioned your name before."________________________

"Duhh, I know that," flicking his tail away, he mockingly rolled his eyes as he lightly brought down a paw onto Whisperpaw's tail, making her jerk to a hault, "Whatcha gonna do now?"_________________________

H a w k b l a z e“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkblaze chuckled lightly as one of his big paws was slid off of her tail. He tilted his head to her comment, thinking it over, but nonetheless looking like a mousebrained kit.]
"Really?" he questioned innocently, trying to sound hurt, "Well...Mmm!" The tabby warrior stuck his tongue out at the apprentice, then sat up straight and glanced at the area where some NightClan and BreezeClan apprentices were gathering. "Why don't you go speak with the other apprentices? Maybe you'll find out some important gossip. Apprentices are usually the first to spill Clan secrets, you know," he whispered the last sentence, hinting that Whisperpaw could probably easily find out some stuff about other Clan cats._________________________

He was acting stupid tonight, but he had to admit that it was fun. He arrogantly raised his chin, looking down at Whisperpaw with his amber-golden eyes glittering with humor.]
"Hey, I worked my tail off for my rank and name, so I deserve to firmly plant my butt here and talk to other warriors, like Firestorm here," he meowed with a fake seriousness, flicking his tail to the fiery senior warrior beside him, "Besides, if you don't want to spy on them, just have fun talking to them all. StarClan knows that the next time you see them you'll have to greet each other with unsheathed claws," he added in a matter-of-fact tone._________________________

I think Duskfire is beginning to develop some sort of low self-esteem...She doesn't have a crush and no toms have tried anything with her so far. xD ))
[Duskfire watched as the last of the Clans arrive. Her bright eyes glittered when she saw all the new apprentices and new warriors. Life was good this greenleaf.]
I wonder what it is that Hauntedheart and Honeypaw has to tell Lavenderrain. If it's important enough to almost interrupt the Gathering, it must be something very important, she looked around when she heard a apprentice scuffling with another cat; the tabby pelt was unmistakable, That's...Hawkpaw! Oh wait, he must be a warrior by now. Last time we saw each other, we were both young apprentices. My, how time flies! Well, I'll ask him about his name later. He seems to be enjoying himself...
[The dusky she-cat thought to herself with a humorly purr as she saw Hawkblaze sticking his tongue out at a fellow StormClan apprentice. She wondered how long it'd be until the leader would actually start the Gathering...]__________________________

[I blinked, watching as the cats mulled about. I was getting sick of worrying. Why couldn't I just relax and have some fun?
I snorted, with a sigh. Glancing around for something to do, I spotted a leaf blowing arount on the breeze. It flitted past me, and I pinned it down with my paw. This isn't as fun as it used to be, I thought softly, remembering my apprentice days.
Feels like I want to play with it....but if any other warrior saw a StormClan warrior playing with a leaf, it would be a disgrace to StormClan.
I sighed and let the leaf go, watching it flutter on the breeze. I flopped over on my flank, uninterested with what the leaders had to say.
It's probably some end-of-the-clans stuff again, from the looks on their faces, I thought irritably. Psht.
(( I'd slap Thunderflight too, if she were human. |D It seems she can't act herself around Hawkblaze, which is all he wants. :I

He knew the anger and self-doubt that came with delayed ceremonies from his own past, so seeing Whisperpaw going through something similar both intrigued and upset him.]
"Who's your mentor again?" he asked softly, not really believing that any StormClan warrior would ever ignore their own apprentice.

(( Hurr, she'd actually be pretty carefree around any she-cat around him. But when he says he's not their mate....YET, that adds a lot of unnecessary confusion to her thought processes. 3nodding
I almost want to make her roll down the hill and barrel over him and Whisperpaw. For no reason.
....but even if it wasn't the gathering, that would be too ridiculous.
I guess I'm hyped up on tiredness 8D ))
