He thought to himself.
"Well I guess it sounds like you can handle yourself so I'm ready to go."
He says as he walks back and gets back in the vehicle waiting for Kayla.

Kayla headed out to the new girl and offered her hand. "I'm Kayla." She supplied.

Sam froze whe she heard what the girl had said.
"No way. It can't be possible.." she whisperd. "You found a cure didn't you? You know a way that we can fix the world..." This she said loud enough to carry to the two people near the kinda-sorta-maybe-if-you-squint car.
Ssam quickly stood and started to move quickly and purposfully towards the vehicle.

When she heard the girl introduce herself, she snorted mentally. 'Well, she doesn't play little miss innocent at all, does she?' Sam thought sardonically.
"Hey Kayla. Names Samwise. Like from LOTR. Call me Sam."

Kayla blanched a bit at the girls sudden eagerness. "Well...sort of. Not completely. It's complicated." Kayla stated, wishing it was easy to explain.
"If you come with us, I can tell you on the way to where we're going..."She trailed off, hoping the girl would reply and that Reaper would be alright with this.
"Like...Lord of the Rings? That..." Kayla tried not to laugh, "A lovely name." She held back her smile.

He hits his head on the steering wheel.
Oh and it does not set off the horn.
((I was thinking about having the horn go off, but decided against that. xd ))

'Hmmm' Sam thought. 'This girl could be someone I would trust. I suppose, I could try to give her and.. well the other one, a chance.'
"Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, Chuckles. I know my name is ridiculous. But hey, at least I was named after someone cool. I could have been named something horrible like Eowynn instead. How aweful would that be?" Sam said with a laugh in her voice.
"Wait, fo you really want me to come with you? Are you sure?" The idea of company was thrilling but it also made Sam a bit uncomfortable. She had no idea what they were planning.

"Well you can come. But only if you are up for some subterfuge, a real chance at survival, constantly riding in the back seat, and murdering some F***ed up Acids." She replied, trying to make it sound like a terrible deal as she headed back to truck and Reaper.

"Are you kidding me? Subterfuge is my middle name, Survival sounds kickin', the back seat has more room to stretch out in so I win with that one, an murdering Acids? What do you thin kI do when life gets too dull around here?" Sam was grinning like a maniac as she followed Kayla back towards the car-like-thing.
"Acid baseball is rather entertaining. MAybe I'll teach you how to play later. My companion and I...." Sam trailed off slowly then shook her head. "We used to play all the time before he got killed."

Kayla watched Reaper smashing his head against the steering wheel. Hopefully she made the right choice with this girl.
"Buck up!" She said while climbing into the car and patting Reaper on the arm. "Lets just keep going...we still have a mission here solider." She smiled to Reaper, hoping this would cheer him up.
((I'm going to pm Wings the basics of our plan, but she won't have a huge part in it. Sorry Wings.))

He just looks over at Kayla with a bit of a glare (one of those 'why do you do this to me' kind of glares) as he starts the engine.

Sam heard Reapers comment as they neared the car. Deciding to have a little bit of fun while she still could, she spoke to him.
"Please. WE ain't no group. What we are is a small team. A cluster. A flock. A rather tiny pride. We are not a group. What's another good word for what we are? hmmmmmm. AHHAH!!! We are a trio. Like the three musketeers. Only cooler." Sam said this with a cocky grin plastered onto her face, absolutely sure that her comments would drive the guy up the proverbial wall!

"Okay." Kayla smiled, though throughly enjoying the banter. "Enough with the commentary. We all need to get along here."
"Look, Sam, here's the gist. No, I didn't find a cure. What I found was a stasis for it ;A way to slow the virus' course, and a regenerative supplement; which rejuvenates the destroyed tissue's. So now we need the original notes from a doctor who helped spread the virus. We are going to talk to him right now."
