Maria grabbed his hand and pulled herself the rest of the way up, her feet on the side of the dock "Haa. I used to do this all the time with my brother. We would com-" her feet hit something slimy on the side, moss or algea of some sort, and she slipped back. Maria squeaked and grabbed his hand with her other, dragging him off the deck with her.

After shaking the water from her eyes, Maria grinned at him "Well you caught me, didn't you? So, yes. I believe I quite enjoyed it." she tried to climb up the dock but found herself still in Akihiko's arms "Would you care to let go? Or are we just going to float till we're wrinkled?" she teased.

Maria followed, scrambling up easily and grabbed two of the fish. Scooping her swords up, she walked off the dock and towards her clothes on the shore "Well, now I'm really hungry. Do you want to skin them or shall I?"

I'll skin mine. -He took two from her and walked over to a tree, he set them down over a cloth, and made a fire, with flint and some dry grass-

Maria began cleaning her own fish, sitting with Akihiko, and removed as many of the bones as she could. "So what do you do in the village?" she was curious about everything that people in villages did, not haivng lived in one herself.

I just joined myself, so i havent really gotten settled in yet. -He began skinning his fish and taking out the bones, he then skewered them and began roasting them over the fire- I'm in the process of finding someplace to stay, but it looks like I might have to stay here for the night. -He said looking at the sky, the sun was beginning to set-

Following suit, Maria set her fish to roast over the fire and sighed "Its a nice place to stay. Stars are better than any ceiling in my eyes." she leaned back then lay all the way down, her arms under her head.

-Akihiko leaned against the tree and watched the fire- I hate fire..... -He said in a monotone voice-

Maria twisted to look at him for a moment "Why?" she asked curiously. She didn't mind any of the elements though she'd always been terrified of freezing to death in snow or something.

It destroys everything.....including my home village.-He said as he laid against the tree looking up at the sky, the sun had set, and the stars had started to come out, the fire illuminating the area, he set his sword on the ground-

Maria looked back up at the stars, counting all that she could see "I understand that...I don't hate much but I have plenty of fears." she said softly. Her own swords were right next to her body and she touched them lightly "I've never had a permanent home so I can't understand your loss. I can understand the hate...but not the loss of home."

But i cant hate forever, hate causes war and fear, I plan to end the hatred, and war and fear, that's why I'm so serious when I train. -He slid down and laid on the ground his hands behind his back-
