Even one dollar ^^; 'Cause I don't have that much money.
I think the only bet I've ever agreed to involved a dime. And even that I was reluctant to hand over rofl

What about poker?
Hey, ten cents is a big deal.

I don't really know anything about poker, aside from the fact that royal flushes and poker faces are good. I am reasonably confident in my poker face though.
Yeah, it is. Especially when you realize you're like 11 cents short of a decent lunch because of the stupid tax that wasn't included in the posted price.

Well it's gambling with fake money.
I almost never use change to pay for things.

You do when the school is literally handing you a sum of cash to eat lunch because you're off in some competition far, far away.

They actually give you the money? Wouldn't stuff just be paid for or something?

Yeah, we all get 5 bucks and a letter exempting you from tax. It's because we go to U of I (University of Illinois), and they let us go off campus to buy lunch from restaurants.

What gives them the power to exempt you tax?

I have no idea. I haven't even read the letter. But apparently the letter is perfectly valid and actually works, according to the accounts of other people who have used it.
I haven't used it, simply because that kind of thing is rare and it'd require a lot of hassle and most likely a talk with a manager of the restaurant.

So you just bring your own lunch and keep the money?

You can't keep the money. You have to return whatever you don't use, so I always just buy my lunch.

rofl I never thought of that. I'm totally doing that this year.
But I dunno what I would actually buy confused There's not that much you can buy with $5. You could probably prove that last statement wrong.

Candy? Coffee? I'm pretty sure you don't like coffee. Other various kinds of food?
