Hikari looked from the t.v. to Alexander. "He just had me stand in the darkness for certain periods of time. He wanted me to try to build a tolerance for it so I could withstand its effects better," she explained. Then he said that he was going to take the couch while she was going to take the bed, and how Riku probably wouldn't like it if he were in there with her. She wasn't sure why, but she didn't argue with it. "I see. Good night then," she said with a light nod and then left to go to the bedroom.
Axel could hardly believe the readiness of this guy! Still, he was grateful. "My name's Axel, by the way. Got it--" he stopped himself before he said his signature smart-aleck remark. He cleared his throat to cover up his mistake. "Anyway, I'm Axel. Just Axel," he said quickly.
Sora was grinning from ear to ear when she agreed to go out with him. "Great! Well I'll see you tomorrow, then kay?" he said, hugging her quickly. "Bye~!" he said and ran off towards home, suddenly in a rush to go to bed so morning would quickly come.

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi giggled when she saw the huge grin on Sora's face when she had told him she'd go with him. The crimsonette couldn't help but grin too as she replied, "Okay yay great! Yes, see you tomorrow." Sora quickly hugged her then began running off towards his home. Kairi's heart skipped a beat and her cheeks burned red as the brunette hugged her. "Bye bye Sora!" the Princess called after him. Kairi was now extremely excited for tomorrow to come. She couldn't stop smiling and blushing as she opened her door and made her way up to her room. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... For once, the alarm didn't go off to early for Sora. He didn't even knock the clock off the table when he turned it off. Today was the carnival, and he was going with Kairi. He was really excited about it just being her and him. A lot had been going on lately, and now would be a great day to relax. Hopefully Riku wouldn't be there bothering them too much. He hopped out of bed and started to pull out his usual attire. Wait, did he really want to wear that? He considered wearing something different for a change. But then he thought about if Kairi wore something different. He wouldn't like it as much. It wouldn't be her. He hoped her feelings were the same and he put on his clothes.
The brunette quickly left the house with a fast "See ya Mom, Dad!" and practically ran down the street. About halfway there, he decided that he would walk the rest of the way. He didn't want to look too excited. He wasn't sure how Kairi viewed this outing, or really how he did either. He was just happy it was happening. They'd all been going to the carnival since they were little, but this was the first time he'd actually asked her to go. Did that make it different? As he was contemplating this, he arrived at her doorstep. He hoped he wasn't too early. He scratched the back of his head instinctively and knocked on the door. "Kairi! I'm here!" ((I'm so sorry I was gone everyone! I had marching band and it ruled my life! I'm so glad to be back though! Thanks, Riku is my Twin, for taking Sora for me! I owe you big time!))GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi slept pretty soundly that night. Her tiredness from battling and her excitement for the next day put her to sleep fast. When her alarm clock went of that morning she flew out of bed. She quickly ate breakfast then ran into the shower, her parents raising their eyebrows at her speediness. The crimsonette was determined to look her best for her day out with Sora. She put on her usual pink zipper dress and dried her hair, adding the paopu fruit shaped hair clip the brunette had given her for her birthday one year. Once she was ready Kairi ran downstairs. "Bye Mom, bye Dad! I'm going to the carnival, I'll see you later!" the red head called to her parents. Kairi ran to the door then stopped and took a calming breath. She and Sora had always gone to the carnival, but this time it seemed different. The Princess couldn't stop thinking about the Keybearer. She loved him. She hoped that she'd have lots of fun with him today and didn't end up embarrassing herself somehow by letting her feelings overflow. Kairi's thoughts were broken by a knock on the door and the familiar sound of Sora's voice rang out saying her was there. Kairi took another breath, smiled, and opened the door. "Hey Sora!" Kairi said happily. ((Welcome back Thalassa!! <3 We all missed you!)) We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

((No problem, Thalassa. Guys just remember that everyone is going to meet up at the docks like Axel asked, that way everyone can have a chance to be there at the same time. Just try not to get too far ahead of us.))

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander had slept restlessly after Hikari had left him to go sleep in his bedroom. His dreams were plagued by thoughts of his father and what he planned. The reason the dreams had caused so much turmoil for Alexander wasn't because of what his father planned, but because Alexander himself hadn't yet made his choice about what he would do. Would he choose to stand by his father's side again and help him ensure success? Or would he instead fight along Sora and the others and perhaps inadvertently cause his own father's death? It was these questions that caused Alexander to wake up countless times during the middle of the night.
Once morning came the white haired nobody slowly pushed himself up off of the couch and walked to the kitchen. He merely grabbed a glass of orange juice and was content with that. after he was finished with his drink Alexander made his way to his bedroom and knocked on the door. "Hikari, its morning. Are you awake yet?" He asked through the door in a relatively loud voice.

Hikari blinked herself awake when she heard Alexander's voice. The morning light reflected off the white highlights in her silver hair as she sat up, rubbing her forehead and got up. "I'm awake," she mumbled and opened the door, her bright teal eyes on him, apparently not noticing the fact that her blindfold lay on the bed.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora smiled brightly upon seeing Kairi. He was relieved to see she was wearing her normal clothes too. He also noticed the paopu clip in her hair. He grinned even wider at seeing that and remembering that memory. He had some strange urge to take her hand or something, but that would weird things up too much, so he decided against it. "Sleep well?" he started awkwardly, still rejecting his instincts. He jumped off the front porch and waited for her to follow, then fell into step with her.
The carnival was several blocks away, so the two had some time before they got there. It was a mild morning and the sun had been up for only a little, giving things a golden glow. It really was a perfect day. After all the fighting and drama, it was going to be so nice to just hang out, ride some rides, play some games, and spend time with friends. And carnival food -- though rejecting to some people -- sounded kinda good. Maybe that was why Sora hadn't eaten breakfast. "I wonder if they've added anything new..." he mused as they walked. "I heard next year you can earn some crazy volunteer hours for working there. We should sign up, if we're not... too busy." He'd almost said "not in another world" or "too busy with Heartless", but he'd stopped himself. He was going to keep the other world stuff out of this day as much as he could. ((Meet.. Axel at the dock? What for? *is very lost*))GO TO SCHOOL!?!

~Alexander~ ~Heir to The World That Never Was~
Alexander smiled when Hikari opened the door. He may not feel as closely connected to her as he did before, but he still felt like she was similar to him and that comforted him. Besides, her eyes were actually quite beautiful when she didn't wear her blindfold. Alexander sighed and shook his head, no matter what happened he would never feel any emotions again so why even try? "Good morning Hikari, did you sleep well?" He asked her as he walked past her and into the room. As he reached the bed the nobody carefully reached down and picked up her blindfold before holding it out to her. "I don't know why you wear this thing. It must be difficult to see things properly with it on."

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Sora smiled brightly when he saw Kairi. The Princess beamed back at him. The brunette awkwardly asked her if she had slept well. "Very well thank you," Kairi answered, "You?" Sora jumped off the porched and Kairi followed and soon they were walking in step. The Princess looked around as they walked. It was a beautiful morning and Kairi couldn't think of any better way then to spend it with Sora. As they walked the Keyblade Master wondered if they had added anything new to the carnival. The red head thought of all the things at the carnival. Animals, booths, rides, food. "Maybe," Kairi laughed, "I guess we'll find out if there's anything new when we get there." Sora then mentioned that next year the could earn a lot of volunteer hours for working there, and that they should sign up if they weren't too busy. "Yeah we should. It could be of fun," the Princess replied. If Sora was there with her Kairi would be happy no matter what. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Riku hadn't slept.
He'd stayed up and rowed himself out to the island. He still had Hikari's necklace and had played with it for sometime between smokes. He cleaned out his pack and would have to by more sooner rather than later. He had been worried about a lot. Naminé, Hikari, king Mickey, his other friends and Xemnas...Xemnas. That had taunted most of his thoughts. The thought of Kingdom Hearts and the Nobodies and the effect the man had on both he and his sister.
The silvernette had later then traveled back to the mainland and awaited the group on the docks as Axel had asked. He was lying in the sand just watching the clouds go by as he awaited the others.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora and Kairi were nearing the carnival when he remembered what Axel had said yesterday. He'd almost forgotten they were supposed to meet at the dock. He was so psyched about being at the carnival with Kairi, it'd slipped his mind completely. He smiled sheepishly and turned to Kairi. "Heh heh... We've gotta go to the dock, don't we?" he said, chuckling. "We're kinda going the wrong way."
He took her upper arm and gently pulled her around. They were now headed to the ocean and the dock. The brunette actually forgot to release Kairi's arm for a moment, and then when he realized it, he turned slightly pink and let go. He snickered quietly, not sure if it was out of nervousness or if he really thought it was funny. He couldn't find anything to talk about at the moment, so he put his hands behind his head and walked silently. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi Princess of Heart Kairi could hear lots of noise in the near distance so she could tell that she and Sora were nearing the carnival. That's when both she and the brunette remembered that they were suppose to meet the others at the docks. Kairi had been so excited about being with Sora that she had completely forgotten. Sora smiled sheepishly and reminded her. "Ah! Yeah we have to go to the docks, and haha yes we are definitely going the wrong way," the crimsonette laughed. Sora took Kairi's upper arm and turned her the other way so that they were now headed towards the sea. Kairi blushed a little when Sora took her arm, but she liked it. A moment later though the Keybearer released her. No one was around so Kairi longed to hold Sora's hand, but was afraid of what Sora might think if she suddenly grabbed it. The two of them walked silently for a bit until Kairi smiled and said "It's such a beautiful day today. It's nice to be back home. Haha we weren't gone long, but the mountains in the Land of Dragons killed me. I was freezing in this dress! I'm glad to be back in the nice, warm sun."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.

Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé had walked straight home from the group, too tired to do anything. She'd unlocked her door and entered her empty house and had gone straight up and taken a hot shower to relax herself. After a long while, she had turned the water off and crawled into bed. She was aware of a brilliant feeling of joy that had began to spread through her and sighing, she shut off her link with Kairi. Something had caused the crimsonette to be completely happy and Naminé was glad she was happy. But she was too tired to deal with the Princess' feelings. After she'd cut off the link, Naminé had immidietely fallen asleep.
The next morning seemed to have come way too fast. Naminé stirred in bed, delaying the process of getting up. Eventually, she had to and she got out of bed, washing herself up and getting dressed in her white sundress. The dress she absolutely adored. Sitting on the edge of her bed, she ran her hairbrush through her golen locks and then bent down and tugged on her white sandals. The petite blonde left her house after glancing at the clock. She was suppose to meet the others soon at the docks and if she didn't leave now, she'd be late. Rushing downstairs she exited her house, locking the door and hiding the key back in its spot. Turning around, she took the stairs down her porch and to the street, taking her shortcut down to the beach.
The Memory Witch strolled along the sands, smiling faintly as the sun warmed her and the salty breeze toyed with her hair. Naminé walked just out of edge of the surf, always staying an inch above the incoming tide. After a few moments, she stopped walking and clasped her hands behind her back, looking out over the sparkling sea. She wasn't thinking any particular thoughts; she was just content to be where she was. After a few moments, she turned and saw that the docks were in sight. She made her way over to it and spotted Riku and Sora and Kairi not to far away. The petite blonde walked over to Riku, coming to a stop beside him. She waved at Sora and Kairi, grinning at the pair and she wondered what it was that had made Kairi so happy. But she had a pretty good feeling she already knew.. Looking up at Riku, she smiled softly at him. "Hi." She said simply.
