Tier arrived in front of the two. There wasn't enough time to ask if they were alright or not.
"We have to get to the Rai Dojo as quickly as we can. There were hostiles spotted and a fight might have already broken out. We'll have to act as backup if it's needed."
Tier had a flash back of watching Kaimen go berserk and having the feeling of needing to help out. Tier had underestimated that situation.
"The trams won't work. We'll go on foot.
POST HASTE."
Tier pointed in the direction of the Rai Dojo before taking off in a run through the trees. He would slow his speed down if the students couldn't keep up.

"Lets go Ren." Kwubara said as he grabed his arm and statred to pull Ren along until he was able to compose himself. He keep close to Tier incase they were attacked on the way to the Rai dojo.

Osi sniffed the air as she approached, there was a hint of old smoke, something had recently burned. Her eyes shifted from tree to tree as she crouch low on the branch she had chosen to stop at. She had made sure she wasnt in any light as she hugged closely to the trunk of the tree and stifled what ever chakra she was pouring out. It was one of her few issues that her father could never get through to her, her chakra seemed to have a mind of its own, and rarely listen. Thankfully, for now it was, only letting out a few licks of energy as she sat silently. She could see what would have been where this Academy was, but instead there was practically nothing. She was glad she had positioned herself a few tree lengths away, because something didnt feel right about the place. Why would her father send her here? Surely the clan had been informed about the damage that had taken place in this area. She sighed, weighing her options as she looked into the empty space. If she went back, untrained, she would be claimed like her mother. But if she stayed and the clan found out the Academy was no longer here shed be considered a rouge. Shed be hunted...
Osi didnt sense anyone too near, so she stood, balancing on the ball of her feet and trancing her hand up the side of the tree. Her eyes watching for any small movements as she let her chakra spread around her. She lightly brushed her hand under her scarf and then looked for the nearest chakra. It was still a ways away, but she needed some answers before she headed back to Father and the Clan. Before she became her mother...

The cloaked figure appeared by the ruined dojo, softly glowing eyes peering from under the dull hood as he walked, looking for his contact.

Bao's head phased through the debris that was still left over from the destroyed Dojo. His opera mask was at a neutral expression as he looked on to the cloaked figure.
"Over here."

A young woman appears in the forest near the dojo, walking barefoot. She still knows these woods well, although she hasn't been seen here in one, maybe two years. She's still tiny-- barely 5 feet tall and without any weight on her body, but in contrast to the wild girl that once ran through these woods, she's a controlled young woman. Even her wild curls, which still float behind her as she walks, seem more controlled.
After leaving the dojo to fight in a war, the woods around her aren't willing to to accept their little child back fully. There is a strange disconnect between her presence and the trees. She feels wrong to them, a person who left and no longer has a place. Like anything here, the woods are their own entity, and can feel abandoned. She doesn't seem to mind the disconnect. It's to be expected.
Ryuu stops when she sees the edge of the ruins. "Yeah, I'm home," she says.

Ryuu wakes up still hugging the trunk of the oak she’s been sleeping in. It’s one of the trees that has been untouched by the occasional fire storm. As a result, it’s more willing to let Ryuu sleep in it for the whole night rather than throwing her out. The younger trees might be as big, but they are still petty little children and still angry at her. She gives the trunk a small kiss, and jumps to a lower branch and then to the ground. Ryuu hadn’t seen anyone around recently, but that’s a side effect of someone burning down the dojo. Ryuu was already working on a plan to fix that particular problem, but she needed to make sure that there wasn’t a reason to keep the place destroyed.

Neko approached Bao's image, quickly and brashly enough so his hood fell down to his shoulders.
"What do you want for her, Steel?"

"Partnership.
I need a little help with something. It's quite important. Would you be interested even after I gave Ishira back? Don't worry I really have no interest in harming her, you see."
Bao's body phased up through the debris until he was standing on top of the wreckage.

"Good, because before that move you made, I didn't have any intention of harming you, either. So how about you rectify that mistake and we let bygones be bygones, before it sinks in too much for me to forgive?"
Neko narrowed his eyes, not paying much attention to anything but Bao at the moment, anger evident in his demeanor.

"Let's not degrade ourselves to an emotional level.. you didn't answer my question about the partnership."
Bao's mask was still neutral because of the reaction he just received. It did not please him in the slightest.
"I had just said I have no intention of bringing harm upon her."
In Bao's eyes, Neko was completely ignoring him.

Neko didn't even seem to give thought to his decision, speaking abruptly enough to interrupt Ishira's captor.
"Fine. Release her. Now."

Bao stared at Neko as a frown appeared on the opera mask. He crouched towards the ground and placed an arm between his knee and chin.
"So you can run off as soon as I hand her over? Don't waste the valuable time I have left here.
You have at least 3 more minutes before my time is up."
Bao started to snap his fingers with his other hand,
"Now wake up and listen to my offer. Only when you answer seriously will I do as you request.
Or do you want me to start talking to you as if you were a child?"
He had overestimated Nekojiri's emotional control to this situation.

Ryuu walks into the center of the clearing where the dojo used to be. She sits down cross legged, places her hands on the ground. She takes a small breath in and holds it while she shoves her energy down into the ground. The earth begins to shake and the growl. She is hollowing out the ground, creating a system of catacombs. She is pulling water from the earth, heating it, and blasting rocks into walls. She's creating a base for a much bigger project.
