I'm hoping that having school over with will give me back my will to post. But there's more than just finals that're killing my will to post. I'm just kind of... dried out. Too much stress, maybe. Hopefully I'll be back on my feet in a jiff, though.
Prepaaare... for... uh... something! -no idea what she's talking about-
Anyway, we should try to figure out a way to lure more people in C.O.S.T. We've got enough for the guild to be happy and dandy, but chaos and confusion is good too, right?
Any ideas about how to bolster our members number? domokun I'm thinking some kind of a thread, not sure though... throw ideas at me... and try to aim for the noggin.

...Damn it, why is every guild that I actively take part in always asking for more members...?
(grumbles something about "Negima" and "Random swords" under his breath)
I suppose cut back a little on the whole 10 or whatever sentences thing. Most internet users can't even write more than 2.
A basic RP schooling kind of thing. And a school of hardass basic English skills.

hahaha! I like your example with the CAPITAL LETTERS!
I am not sure that reducing the number of sentences per post will have any other impact but decreasing the quality.
I think that right now school is quite busy for everyone and thus this is a down time, but I think that the guild is still quite active. And I LOVE the forest rp...!!! biggrin
Gaia gathers a lot of different people and i think that most of them are here to relax and switch off their brains... thus they are not attracted by literate role play.
Another way to have more active guids would be to combine the literate role playing guilds into one guild with sub-forum based on: fantasy, sci-fi,...
but this will never happen... and this is fine.

I am sorry to hear that the Tidal rp is slow
we've had up and down with the Forest and currently this is AMAZING...
i cannot wait to read others' posts... I am all crazy about the plot and the different characters...

Make the posting limit smaller? But that would eliminate one of the reasons for making the guild. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Yeah, Tidal has been moving a bit slower, which surprises me a bit. Usually after I post at least three others have posted within two days. xD Looks like they've all forgotten that poor lil' Tidal is still there~
Nah, it just means that you're a true literate to the end, Zulma! When I text message I always, always, always text out all of my words. One of my friends gets irritated when he sees me do that. xD He's always going: "just use the shorter version! It doesn't matter!" xD

Well, it's just nice to have a good amount of members in the guild. -shrugs- I mean, it's not absolutely needed, it's just more enjoyable. :3
I remember when I first opened up this guild. It had about... five, maybe seven members. It went through a dry period and then kicked back up and hasn't gone through a dead period (dead, dead, dead, not slow) since. 'Tis nice indeed.

Actually Zulma, we have a sci-fi subforum.... sweatdrop A role play still has to have a tinge of fantasy to it for it to be accepted, but I think that sci-fi and fantasy go hand in hand. Anyway, it's The Paradox subforum.

what i meant was that: if guilds of literate role players were to work together and have sub-forums by genre then it would consolidate everyone together...we would not have different role playing guilds but only ONE offering every type of literate role playing...
but this is never going to happen...
do you see my point?

Indeed it is. There are just far too many Guilds to have that effectively work. And I'd rather have the admins focus on things they've already promised us. surprised
And I'm somewhat back. Not really though, not for sure until for about two weeks. I may be slightly more active. An actually longer version/explanation will be in my journal at some point.
Woot. I remember that and you ended up starting from scratch.

Wow, Cross Our Swords in a dead period...
The concept seems so...against nature...
The whole swords magic thing was a rip off of a David Edding's series. I like the series a lot, but I don't like to be sued for ripping off copyrighted stuff...
This requires the idea I had about demons and lots of sex...

Okay no, I don't own La Blue...sadly.
But moving back to the demons idea...I just need to work out a way to pull off something and then I'll be able to make up a plot. "The human race is a bunch of idiots" concept doesn't really work with what I'm thinking of.
Curses.
I now I need to think of powers...grumble.
I made a Forest Character, have never used it. Forest seems to full for my liking. Plus Tidal is way too awesome. Though right now I'm useless against a FREAKING TIDAL WAVE kind of thing.
And a name...
BRAIN WAVE!...it'll have zombies...and advanced magic...lots of pissed off people...and a God system ripped off from 2 different fantasy series...but my God it could work...
Plus think of all the Shaun of the Dead references people can use...

xD Hee hee, it does, doesn't it? :3 It was like, pretty bad. Totally dead. Just as Doom says, I started it all up from scratch. I don't remember exactly who was there, but I do know that the originals who are still here are me, Doom, and Rose. (Possibly someone else, but I don't remember....) Rosie used to be a crew member, but he got demoted because he wasn't doing anything. xD But since he was the first member (me first, actually, so I guess he's actually the second?) and he's never completely left the guild, he's been able to stay.
Demons and lots of sex? xD

I've got an idea for a role play, surprisingly inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh! xDD It doesn't have to do with card games or any of that shiz, though. But it's just a single idea right now, and I'm not sure how to work off of it.... -sighs- I must find my muse, Rose~! domokun

In need of some RP help...when I should be doing maths homework...that's due tomorrow. Oh boy...
I need a name for a country...and a kingdom...Right now I only have the ones from books in my head and ripping them off doesn't seem right...
Plus I have kind of ripped off a God system as it is so more isn't that right in my books...
