Tim thought a moment, looking at Kon. He realized what kind of face Superboy was making at him, and he resumed a questioning expression behind his dark helmet.
"...I kind of want to stay close to home... you know, will the whole 'verses merging', 'heroes missing' and 'assassinations'..."

Jinx continued to whisper slightly seductively, "You know, all work and no play.... There are times when you really need to step back and relax, otherwise you can drive yourself crazy and burnt out. You need a vacation, and then you can take on the bad guys fresh -- less of a chance of making simple mental errors that could end up costing your life."

He turned his head so he could see Jinx out of the corner of the helmet.

(enter FG/Jaquelyn Allen from the Batcave) The first figure through the portal was a blonde-haired young girl covered in red and yellow clothing except for the overly large dark coat that hung on her shoulders. The Flash symbol was printed clearly on her chest, and she was holding a young golden retriever pup. She had enough 'time' to decide the proper stepping for the terrain as she stopped (skidding just a little bit) in front of the people on the other side of the portal. Right away, her words were sped up quite a bit as she looked around.
"Woah!-What-happened-here?-This-used-to-be-a-school?-It-was-so-big!"
She looked around excitedly, already spotting one familiar face and smiling wide at Superboy. The only reason she wasn't dash/hugging anyone was because of the pup in her arms.
"Woah,-you're-older,-just-like-Kai,-and-what-happened-to-your-awesome-jacket?-I-like-your-hair-though!-This-is-Batgirl?-I-don't-think-we've-met!"
Her attention diverted from Conner to Jinx and Robin, though Jaquelyn hadn't quite realized that this was Tim in civvies...

When the young speedster appeared, Jinx briefly thought of Wally. But quickly dismissed that thought, when she saw Jaquelyn's form after she stopped in front of them. After her experience with Wally, Jinx was used to 'speed speak', "Hi, it's nice to meet you too. Are you the.... new Kid Flash?"
Her last statement was with a small lump in her throat....

She shook her head and let her pup down on the ground. The golden started sniffing around immediately, but kept close to the girl.
"I'm-Flashgirl.-Bart's-Kidflash-"
She stopped with that and looked back at the portal. As far as she knew the rest of her and her sister's family had been missing for months, and Bart was like a brother to the both of them. It was hard to think about it. Maybe... it was possible that someone here knew where they went. She turned back at Batgirl with a hopeful look. This time her words were slowed, closer to a 'normal' talking speed.
"Have you seen our uncle...? Or... or maybe Flash? We've been to his Keystone apartment... and no one's been home for a while-"
Along with the girls' parents, Jay, and Bart... Uncle Barry and Wally were missing as well. At least throughout the hero community one of the two may have been spotted.... or she hoped they had been spotted...

The Batcomputer sends an update to Tim, pulling up a file on facial recognition sent in by Catgirl about the fake Batman:
Ex-NYPD detective, Damon McCready who was convicted of drug possession and served five years on Riker's. While he was locked away, his wife committed suicide. Only surviving family member is one Mindy McCready. When Damon got out of prison, he took off with his daughter.
Before McCready was arrested, he was investigating a New York crime boss called Frank D'Amico....

Carol shrugged, slightly ashamed. "Rest would be the wisest choice, but I really don't want them to find a hiding place... Do you have anyone who could track them without being seen or something?" Carol folded her arms, musing to herself. "Better yet, do we know where they'll go?" This time, she met Rogue's gaze, wordlessly apologizing.

Kesshou's eyes narrowed. "I can track my evil counterpart just as long as she stays within approximately..." Kesshou thought for a moment. "She'd have to be in the bottom part of Florida to be out of my range with how large a power she has stored up... Unless she grounds herself then it might be around two to three states away."
She shifted from one foot to the other and sighed. "I can shape change but she'd be able to sense me coming.... Do we have any other shape changers other than Gar?

As the others were deciding on what to do, X23's mind was firmly on the task at hand. She was going to track down and find these people herself, subdue them all, and bring them back to the Institute. However, she looked to Babs.
"How much farther?" she asked.

Oracle motioned with her hand, "Just right here on your left. The X-Men have different sizes of suits for going out in the field. We should be able to find one in your size."

X23 nodded, and moved into the room to try on some of the outfits. It took her only ten minutes to find a satisfactorily-sized outfit and try it on, before heading outside to show it to Babs.
The outfit itself consisted of a black tank-top that covered her breasts, but nothing else below her neck. The pants she wore were black; like her earlier outfit, they seemed to be form-fitting. On the pants themselves was a belt consisting of several circular loops, with the standard X-Men logo showing in front. Her boots went up closer to her knees than the ones she wore previously when wearing her HYDRA suit, and were black as well. And to top it off, she wore gloves that actually went up past her elbows, and they matched the color of her top.
"I like this one," she said, looking to Oracle with a small smile.
((Basically, I'm using the outfit that her Marvel vs Capcom 3 version uses as a default costume, as I once asked Saph to draw X23 with that sort of costume.))

Gar had been slightly pacing thinking to himself how they could begin tracking Starfire and "Raven" just assuming that they would have to track her right from Star Labs and follow up on Quinn. He perked up when he noticed Flash Girl enter through Nightshade's portal. For sure that would help their search but she was far younger than he remembered. He walked up to her a slightly happier expression took him as another person he knew entered the mix.
"Flash Girl... You're really young, but I'm glad to see another familiar face"
He ruffed up her hair a little looked at Robin then back at Jackie.
"Is your sister around as well? I would hate to think that you were left completely alone other than your flash pup here."
Kurt watched the surroundings before he knew it he had gone off in thought. He bamphed over by Scott and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention.
"Scott, vhat are ve going to do now?"
Scott stood still and turned to Kurt.
"/We/ are going to help rebuild the manor, like I said before and Beast boy needs to get his team together and find his friends if nothing else."
He looked up to Garfield.
"I'm tired of waiting around. Anyone on my team to help rebuild the manor, to stay here, help, come with me. We'll all be going back down into the institute, everyone else... feel free to join Garfield if he wishes you to join him."

Rogue sighed tiredly before responding to Carol, "Kesshou just told meh that Suppai's stayin in one place. Sounds lahke a trap. Ah did absorb Ward Abbot's memories... Ah think Ah may know where the agents are goin: 415 East 71st Street in Metropolis. That's tha trainin facility for Stonewall's programed assassins. We hit their HQ earlier, an the trainin facility would be all that's left of Stonewall.
"Stonewall's a black bag assassination squad that independently determines 'threats' to tha U.S. and eliminates them without any other governin authority. Because a dirty fed labeled the Titans as a threat, Stonewall gone a done killed several Titans. We can't let em start this dang project up again, especially since they're targetin civilians.
"A couple of us could go bust it up, but we probably be runnin inta a rat's net of riled up feds. Tha FBI right now ain't havin a clue as to what Operation Stonewall's been doin. Carol, you do have tha public image and gov't contacts ta help put a stop to 'em once an for all."
