Akira walked silently to the room she shared with Chyna. She yawned and stretched. Before crawling into her bed which seemed to be calling her name Akira jumped into the shower. Then slowly as she lay staring out the window wishing she had someone to love sleep over took her and sweet dreams of the past floated through her subconscious.

Ayla was in her room, tidying up her clothes. She yawned, looking over to her bed, but finished tidying before taking a extra warm shower. This in turn made her even more tired, but she wanted to study the crystals in detail before going sleep.
Lying on her bed, she pulled the crystals out of her jacket and placed them down gently. She looked them over, trying to understand the power within them. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep, the crystals securely under her pillow.

In her mind, Chyna quickly ran over the duel. It was certainly what she had not expected to see. It left her in a slight state of shock. Looking around, mostly everybody had deserted the grounds, so she headed off to her dorm for herself. It took her longer than usual for her to find it. She was so dazed, she didn't even realize she had stopped walking until at least five minutes after she truly had. She shook her head, before an immense amount of exhaustion weighed down on her. It had been a long day, certainly. She trudged along, at a faster pace somewhat. Chyna was eager to get to her dorm room. A good night's sleep would make her feel better. She was then face to face with her door, and she pulled it open. She looked around the room, and saw Akira, already in bed. Chyna then went to her drawers, pulled out a T-shirt and sweatpants, and changed quickly before getting to bed herself.
She fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
That day was longer than she had given it credit for. A full day of sleeping would be in order. Chyna tossed and turned in her sleep, not dreaming of anything bad, though she barely dreamed at all. Her reckless sleeping was not anything new. She usually woke up with her blankets thrown all over the room by morning.

Finally, the night passed. Finally, it was a new day.
The previous had seemed so long to its possessors because of everything that had happened. Now, it was a new day. The dueling club was coming the the University, and promised rides of mythical beasts had many students excited. What else would this day hold?

Jacques awoke with the dawn, and headed to the school to have his discussion with the Headmaster about the crystals. If he was to help keep this school open he would need to do so soon. Then out stepped Emma in her long white ceremonial gown. Jacques' breath caught in his throat. She looked like she had on their engagement night. Her hair was down, flowing softly in the wind caused unknowingly by her. He almost missed her voice, echoing with the power of training, and discipline, so lost in her.
"Once I was hidden from the sky that I was destined to rule...only to be placed in its arms by my captors. The Angels who miss me now know that they once ruled my soul..." Her voice faded briefly before continuing, "But now I know what I must be to no longer be controlled by them, yet…I cannot forget their strongest son. I offer up all judgment to the sky today as the sun warms the air that controls me, and those who seek me.”
Jacques knew she was talking about the Angels, the elite group that were strictly air masters. They recruited at infancy in order to ensure maximum strength. He was their one exception expect that he had chosen to leave in order to pursue his charge. The wind suddenly whipped around him, as Emma’s clothing seemed to be jerked around her, pulled tight, and loosened, her hair a mess of tangles undoubtedly…yet Jacques had never seen her so beautifully. Then everything stopped. Emma’s breathing was harsh; her reminder to herself that she was still recovering from the illness that she had contracted.
Emma turned and saw Jacques, her eyes widen, a hand flying up to her mouth in an action of maidenly shock. Instantly, she took off again, afraid of how much he had seen. She raced through the halls, her bare feet making no noise on the still cold floor of the University. Her door slammed shut behind her, her heart racing. She threw off her dress, getting dressed for another day like her encounter with Jacques had never happened.
Jacques stood in shock. Did he really scare her so? Or was it what he reminded her of…? Perhaps, no, he had to focus on the problem he could actually fix at the time, and it was not Emma. If that could actually be fixed. He shook his head stubbornly, and then stepped into the University’s main hallway, seeing Emma’s fleeing form scale the stairs. He wished she would love him again. Sighing, he walked to the Headmaster’s door, and knocked once sharply.
[Where did all that come from? I have no idea...]

By the time the sun even showed any signs of rising, Jin was already walking down the hallway to exit the dorm wing of the school. He didn't sleep well. Something kept him from getting nice deep sleep that he always had. He woke up cold. Even under his heavy blankets, he was shaking when he was woken up by a strange feeling inside of him. Almost loneliness. Though, he couldn't figure out why. He was surrounded by students and teachers alike. All he considered friends and family. Maybe a nightmare that he couldn't remember? It would be a first in a long time. Pushing the thought aside, Jin climbed out of bed, showered, ate and now made his way towards his first class. For the day he had on a black sleeveless shirt, black pants, shoes and his red bandanna which he always had over his forehead. With his backpack slung over his right shoulder, he turned down the hallway which lead to his class. His footsteps seem to be loud due to the amount of quietness as everyone was either still asleep, or just waking up. In the mean while, Jin thought about his rare and confusing morning when he woke up.

Akira woke up way to early for her taste but she didn't sleep well. The dreams about her past and her empty love life kept her tossing and turning all night. She got up and showered and then crept out of her dorm room and roamed the school listening to techno on her ipod. It wasn't time for class yet so Akira just walked around. Not paying attention while rounding a corner Akira walked right into someone and was knocked to the ground. "********." She cursed under her breath. Sighing she stood up and dusted herself off and looked to see who she had run into. It was Jin. "Oh. Hey. Sorry about that I wasn't paying attention." She said feeling like an idiot. Today Akira was wearing one of her favorite outfits. It was a black skirt with chains hanging from it. Some considered it to be gothic. Her shirt was a simple black tank top that ended short and left a gap of skin showing between the end of her shirt and the top of her skirt. Her favorite green bandanna was around her neck as always and her hair was down and straight.

Sunlight flooded into the room, seeping its way into the crack in her eyes. Chyna blinked momentarily before turning over and shutting her eyes again. A small groan came from her throat. She would have appreciated a much, much longer resting time. She sighed and got up anyway. Her eyes wandered to Akira's bed. Her roommate had already gotten up, and as she judged by the stillness, she had already left. Chyna took a quick shower before changing into clothes. She pulled on some jeans that were ripped around her knees, and a shirt was a light blue with a print of a hot pink flamingo. She tied a belt around her waist that was buckled with a pink skull, and threw a navy jacket around her shoulders. On her feet she wore plaid pink and blue shoes with a different kind of shoelace on each. She ran her fingers through her hair a couple of times before brushing her teeth, then she looked over herself in the mirror. At least she was decent. Sighing, she made her bed and straightened up her room before slipping quietly out the door.
The girl walked aimlessly down the hall before deciding to head outside. It was a nice day, why not? She shoved her hands into the pockets of her jacket before quickening her pace. Now she actually had a place to want to be. She finally came to the door, and pushed it open with her shoulder. It was warmer than she expected, but she was always cold, so it wouldn't matter to Chyna. Without having much else to do, she hurried over to one of the benches that was placed for lunch. She took a seat and looked out at the field around her. It was very beautiful. Chyna sighed and closed her eyes before leaning her head back on the seat. She would wait like this until the bell rung.

With in Jin's thoughts, he had given up on the his odd morning. He think about it when he was more awake and alert. Jin was slightly spacey when he was passing a corner, and he felt himself get hit slightly. His balance lost, having just raised a foot to step, he felt himself tip to the side. In reaction, his alertness went from around nothing to max. His eyes gained a gray glow and his body seemed to have gracefully moved with the air around him that kept him on his feet. When both legs touched ground, he turned just to see Akira standing and dust herself off. She was dressed nicely. In his opinion. We was a fan of dark colors, mixed or not. Though his favorite was black. At the sight of her green bandanna, his hand moved to his dark red one around his forehead, and slightly adjusted it. "Morning Akira. Don't worry about it. You alright?" Jin asked softly, leaning on his left leg to get comfortable. "Like the outfit. Looking beautiful." Jin commented with a smile as his eyes returned to heir normal dark brown color. He wondered how he never really noticed her much. Though in all truth, he was more on the mind set of his training and the determination to become stronger as a person then on taking a good look at everyone. Though he knew the teachers, he merely glanced at everyone but a selected few. He continued to smile, then noticed that she was wearing head phones to an ipod. Curious, he increased the sensitivity of his ears. He heard the music clearly, and it seemed like his smile grew. It was his favorite type of music, next to drum and bass. He returned his ear to normal and waited for a response from Akira.

Ayla yawned, and rolled over, falling out of bed with a loud thump. She cursed, slowly standing up, and dusting herself off. She made her bed, then took a quick shower. As she made herself a hot chocolate, she got dressed, into her black jeans and a dark red blouse. She threw on a black jacket, in which she placed both crystals before drinking the hot choc, and left the cup on the side to wash after classes.
Locking her door behind her, Ayla headed down the corridor towards the library. She still needed to see the Headmaster, but that was going to wait until he was ready to see her. She didn't want to push him. Turning the corner, she saw the same person that she had brushed past the previous night standing in front of the Headmaster's door. She was a little curious, but shook her head and headed into the library quietly, going straight for the section on fire techniques. Pulling a book off the shelf, she sat down, and slowly began to read until the bell rang for class.

Akira stopped her music and put her ipod away. She looked at Jin and smiled. At his comment about her looking beautiful she blushed a bit. "Thanks. Just my every day attire. Nothing special I guess." She said meekly. Akira noticed that Jin's eyes changed color. Thats cool. She thought. "Oh and I'm fine..What are you doing up so early?" She asked her curiosity peeked. Akira glanced around and realized how truly empty the school was at this early hour. No one seemed to be awake other then her and Jin.

Jin smiled as she thanked him for his comment. It probably was her everyday attire, but he hadn't realized it till now. There was no way he would tell her that. He had seen her many times, but only in glances. "This is when I wake up. I can't get deep sleep for some reason. So, I usually sleep for about four to six hours if I am lucky." Jin replied softly as he adjusted his backpack on his shoulder. "What about you? Usually I am the only one walking this hallway for another half an our, maybe longer." His own curiosity took over as he looked at Akira in the eyes.

As soon as her alarm uttered its first "beep," Tsuki sprang up, hit the off switch, and practically jumped out of bed. She whistled as she went through her morning routine or hygienics and clothes. Today she wore a black shirt adorned with some clever phrase in white, black gloves that stopped at her knuckles, various chokers and necklaces, a black belt covered in silver studs and a heart belt buckle, classic blue jeans with chains, and some high-reach black boots in which she tucked her pants. Her red-streaked hair was pulled back into two pigtails, and her eyes were lined with black. Today was going to be a wonderful day.
She could not wait to her her boyfriend, who agreed to meet her at the library before classes started. As soon as she was ready, she grabbed her bag from the floor and sped out, almost forgetting to lock her door. She slowed down only to enter the library. Once she passed its regal doors, she looked around only to become disappointed, as Amir had not yet arrived. Dismayed, she went to the front counter, returned the books she had finished yesterday, and sat down, planning to finish the one book she had managed to devour the previous day.
The book - a fairytale of ships and princes - was rather entertaining, but not even the compelling story could hinder her eyes from glancing up at the door every few moments, hoping her own prince had arrived.

Akira smiled lightly at Jin. He was kinda cute, she decided. "I just didn't sleep well last night. I have alot on my mind lately. So how did you like the duel. That was quite a surprising ending. I can't wait to get in the ring myself." Akira realized she was babbling a little bit. She seemed to do that when she was nervous. But what was she nervous about? Akira tossed her hair out of her eyes with a flick of her hair. Her nose ring was tickling her but she ignored it. Akira's dark blue eyes were lined in black eyeliner and thick mascara. It seemed to make them jump out at people, especially against her mostly black attire.

Jin nodded in understanding. He slept, but not as deep as he usually did for about the same reason. His mind was working all night on something. Jin merely smiled as she babbled on. He didn't mind it at all. He kinda got use to it from talking to other girls around the school from time to time. He listened to every word they said. It was common courtesy in his mind. "It was exciting. My body was tense the entire fight. The ending was surprising. I knew the Dean would do something out of the ordinary. But, that was priceless. Also smooth. No one saw it coming. Not even Liriale." Jin chuckled softly, his smile still formed on his face while he continued speaking. "I can't wait myself. I am hoping to see how strong I am compared to Amir. I have been working and training every night sense I got accepted to the school. It's one of my goals while I am here. To be the best I can be. Not only for the power, but, I want to protect." Jins smile grew at the thought. Going into a half day dreamy state, before coming back to reality quickly and scratching the back of his head. Now he was the one babbling. "Sorry..." He apologized.
