Iro smirks and says "oh well there's a scary story unto itself." Ryu smirks to Iro, whom laughs some before saying "no I'm just joking." Suddenly fire flies begin to flit about them. Ryu watched the fire flies and says "i've a story, it's not scary persay, but it's something that happened long ago when i was on my campaign." he looks to the others to see if they are listening.

Ryu nods and says "long ago, in the early years of my campaign, not every battle I was in was won with the ease they are now. One battle in particular saw me as the soul survivor, though it was only because the enemy thought my wounds grave enough when I fell in the river that I'd surely die from them. I drifted whom know how long, unconcious down that river till someone fished me out. When I came to, a beautiful maiden was tending my wounds. There was something...ethereal about her, and sure enough I would learn she was infact the spirit of the river. I asked why she was tending my wounds when my battle sent scores of men into her river to bloody it with their dying bodies. She looked to me between long wet strands of silver hair and said 'I do this, for i've a favor to ask one whom is lord of storms.' "
"You see black dragons like myself have power over the storms, which often feed rivers with rain fall. So I asked her 'and what is this favor you seek?' She then tells me of a damn the enemy army erected upriver and how it's hurting the life downstream. Hearing this and seeing my wounds so expertly tended, i figured I owed it to the woman to return the favor. just then I heard the voice of one of my subordinates call out "I found him." I looked to the sound, then back to the woman to tell her it was my men, but when i looked, she'd disappeared without a sound."
"I blinked and looked to see if I could see her running off, but all i saw was a small swarm of fire flies dancing over the river. When my men found me i told them we had a damn to destroy. That night we marched up river and found the damn, it was barely guarded and we took the men easily. I then unleashed my full power, at the time, on the damn, crushing it and sending the full fury of the river down upon something else i didn't know of. When we went down river to evaluate the damage, we found the enemy had a fort next to the once weakened river. The released water crushed the fort and killed most of there men. With the men I had, we finished them off and began to salvage what we could. I then heard the familiar voice fo the woman saying "thank you for freeing me." I turned to see her a short ways away and said "you, you're a river spirit." The woman smile, and then turned into the small swarm of fire flies and flitted away."

Iro naturally allows Kitsuna to use his legs as a pillow, listening to the tale. Ryo looked to Lyoko and says "well I did say it wasn't a scary tale persay. However when i recounted the details to my men later on, some of them began offering up prayers to the rivers we would later cross." he smiles some and says "anyone else have a story?"

Iro looks to Lyoko and says "then recount the tales you've heard, besides you're the only vampire we've encountered before. It would be nice to learn more of your kind." Ryu nod in agreement and says "indeed, tell us your tales" One of the fire flies flitting about suddenly came down and landed on kitsuna's nose.

Iro and Ryu both listened intently to the story. Clearly this bit of history had yet to reach their ears, but then again, this was a far off land from Egypt. Iro looks to Ryu and says "finding them would make for an interesting adventure, aye Ryu-san" Ryu looks to Iro and nods.

Both men blinked, and Ryu stood and moved to follow Lyoko. When he caught up to her he'd move up behind her and place his hands gently on her shoulders "I'm sorry if we upset you my love. My lord might yet be up for more adventures, but I'm only worried about working on our family with you. Besides I think my lord was joking." If allowed he'd give her a comforting hug.

He held her close, his inner fire being felt even through his clothes. "I'd not know this Akasha was so feared by vampires. I'll be sure and let my lord know that is a sensative subject for you." he gently strokes her hair, trying to calm her down
