I tried to play it, but I guess I got distracted halfway through and never finished. That's how interested I was. sad The characters were cool though.

It was a bit dull at times, not gonna lie- but I like that it pandered to the more mature side of the audience. As much as I liked FFVII, it was a bit out there or dull at times for completely different reasons, too.

FFVII was amazing when it came out. The mechanics, cinematics, and story focus combined were huge shifts from mainstream games. I wouldn't say they were dull, but I can see how compared to games today they can be seen as less than it was when it came out.

Most of the FF games don't have much replay value because of how long they are and how tiring the mechanics get. (Personally, I love replaying VII-X-2)They rely a lot on hype of the game/story during the time that there is hype. After the hype is gone, it's difficult to redo everything because of how time consuming it is and how the suspense is generally gone. You aren't saving the world and discovering new things anymore-- which is a big drive to continue playing the first (few) times around. After you know things too well, the discovery aspect goes and you're just playing mechanics with little investment in story.

My problem with FF (or rather, any RP style game) is level grinding. It must be done, but I'm so terrible at it. FFVII is still one of my favorites in the series, but there are points in the game that focus on characters that you don't care about or there isn't much going on plotwise where it's just hard to be engaged. For example- Barret and Yuffie, both of their little side stories made me want to stab myself because I just didn't care enough to play through them xD And the whole portion of the story where Cloud turns into a mindless veggie and you have to play as Tifa. I hated Tifa and that segment was so forgettable that on my second playthrough I was literally like 'WTF IS THIS s**t?'

I usually re-play my favorites through at least once, sometimes more. Depending on the game I call it quits after one replay unless I get the urge to boot it up again later. I think I tried to play through Suikoden 3 a third time and remembered how many hours it took to do that game right and play Luc at the end, so I said 'screw that.'

Ico I play through every few months or so- it's one of my favorites and I can beat it in about six-seven hours, no grinding needed.

A friend on mine mentioned Game of Thrones at work- she said it was based on a book or series of books she once read I believe. It sounds interesting, but I don't think I want to pick up another new show right now.

I hope Face Off gets renewed for another season- for elimination reality, it's one of the more entertaining things to watch o wo

I've watched intermittent episodes of "Game on Thrones"...

It is good. However, not suitable for littluns. ninja

My parents never really paid attention to what I watched as a kid. My dad worked 3rd shift and my mom was in bed by ten every night, so me and my brother just stayed up and watched whatever we wanted. Found some fantastic shows on late night cable, can't remember most of them- but definitely not meant for kids. Didn't really deter us any.
