Onnless seemed to materialize next to Akiko, "Something wrong?" he asked casually.

Zack almost made the mistake of reaching for the gun in its shoulder holster. Even if it had just been to reassure himself that it was still ready to be pulled and fired, that would have been a dead giveaway. Almost, almost.
Zack walked over and sat down at a random table, leaving only a few tables between him and the group. He now felt somewhat ravenous, and wanted a newspaper.
Ha, ha.

Austin got over his sudden seasickness. Once he was cleaned up, he and Heather went to the pool. Oh, how lovely, a cruise pool! Though, to be honest, it was a tad ironic.
First, of course, they had to change into swimwear. So instead, they headed inside to their cabin.

Hana continued her exploration and wandered around near Zack.
Natsumi kinda felt uncomfortable that Hana was near that guy.
Akiko looked over at Onnless. "No, not all," she said, "Just enjoying the view."

Travis noticed Natsumi's discomfort.
"Are you sure? I could tell you were thinking of something, and I doubt it was the scenery." Onnless said.

Zack's eyes flickered to the child, but soon left the girl to stare at... the scenery. Zack felt lame and conspicuous, but he had to think. They had a child. They weren't, evil, or anything like that. And the guy they were shooting at, well, he was being friendly with the girl who had shot at him.
Why was this?
Zack didn't know, and it tickled his curiosity to no end. Were the people dangerous? Were they... terrorists?
What was with the girl, then?
Oh... Oh, no, Zack thought in unison with one other thought: Child bomber.

Natsumi got up and walked over to Hana. She picked her up and brought her back over to the table. "Hana, stay with me, okay?" she said as she set her down down on her chair. Then she sat back down.
Hana nodded. She had gotten bored anyways.
"Yes, I'm sure," Akiko said.

Travis could sense Zack's fear and froze up. Could he know about the hunt? he thought to himself.
"If you say so." Onnless said with a shrug.

Zack stood, no longer feeling well enough to eat. He had to find the captain... or anybody, really, who would listen. The threat of a terrorist attack was very, ah, important, but you didn't need me to tell you that.
Hurrying out of the room, Zack went immediately for the open space of the upper deck. He did not, however, encounter Heather and Austin, who were going the opposite direction in another hall.

"But what about the summer?" Heather repeated, irked that Austin was avoiding the question.
"What about it?" Austin countered, avoiding the subject. Heather replied with a playful punch on the shoulder. "You know. I mean... what are your plans for the summer? You know. P-L-A-N-S. And what are you doing about your birthday?"
"Nothing," Austin replied. "I have no plans. Go back to school afterward, graduate, and... whatever."
Heather spun around to walk backward as she talked. "Omigosh, you know what I want to do? I wanna bake!"
"Bake?"
"Bake," Heather confirmed. "Open a quaint little building in town, you know, those live-in stores. Shop downstairs, home upstairs. It would be so neat!"

Natsumi noticed that Travis froze up. "What's wrong?" she asked him.
Akiko nodded. Then she returned to looking out at the ocean.
