South East to Southern Mid-West USA... somewhere around there. Most of the time anyway. ninja

We have brown recluses here- don't see them too often, thankfully. This isn't their primary habitat. A friend of mine got bit by one hiding in her shoe. We get Garden Spiders though- they're so pretty to look at, but I would s**t a brick if I found one in my house.

Mostly we have big, creepy a** spiders that are harmless.

And then we also have Hobo Spiders here I believe, though we haven't had a problem with them in this area because it's suburbia.

We do have mosquito issues from time to time 'cause I'm like one mile (if that) from a small swamp. It's right next door to the high school I went to.

The biggest pest problem I've ever personally dealt with? Freaking earwigs. Hundreds of them, for about three years in a row. Did you know those bastards can fly? BECAUSE I SURE DIDN'T BEFORE THEY TRIED TO MOVE IN.

The worst instance of meeting a spider I've had is waking up needing to take a leak... turning the light on in the bathroom, and seeing a 3-4 inch wolf spider on the wall... I shot it with a pellet rifle. ninja

I've also found scorpions in my room... I caught them with Duct Tape... and took them to chemistry class. Did you know that a bark scorpion can survive for 1 hours and 15 minutes while submerged in ammonia? It probably would have been more humane to use the boric acid at that point. sweatdrop

I catch stink bugs with duct tape. Then let them die a horrible death in the trash.

The Manslayer Duke is a dumb ******** item. I can't believe it cost me so much gold.

I caught a House Centipede in my bathtub once. Only because I'd never seen one before and had no idea wtf it was. I left it in a sealed, airtight container for two days and it didn't die. Then I felt bad and pitched it into the yard. I also managed to catch a Wheel Bug once, for the same reason- but it died pretty damn quick.

Those wheel bug things are crazy looking. I've never seen something like that around here. Plenty of house centipedes around my parent's log cabin though. I hate those things.

I looked wheel bugs up- apparently they're really common, they're just good at staying hidden. I think the one I caught was already close to death when I got it or something.

I also managed to accidentally catch a walking stick once. It magically appeared on my arm- thing spanned the distance from my elbow to my wrist. Haven't seen one before or since that hasn't been in captivity or on Animal Planet, they're not very common around here. We have lots of praying mantis buggers here though- not that I really mind them, they're pretty neat looking as long as they're not flying at your face.

Every 17 years, Ohio is taken over by Cicadas.

Well I guess that's one upside to Bawston. No crazy insects over here. Pigeons and mice on the other hand are not exactly in short supply.

I see pigeons every once in a while, not so many rats.

We have a ton of crows around here- which I personally don't mind because I don't live on a farm and I think they're fun to watch. Turkey Vultures come back to Ohio every year.

Pigeons are rats with wings.

I never played the original. I'm still flopping through Skyrim and I have FFXIII on deck.

Guild Wars 1 is not worth playing in my opinion. And I never finished FFXIII. FFX was the last Square game that I liked.

I didn't care that much for X. I liked XII better because it was the first one that didn't have some grand love story as the basis (it was over before it started, lawl) and I've never really cared much for the romantic aspect of those games. There are very few canon couples that I like, and Tidus and Yuna were not one of them.

Plus, Fran was badass. You can't deny that Fran was badass. I just wish that the battle system in XII was more engaging. By the end, it literally plays its self.
