Khalid had gotten fed up with this dull conversation. Locating a napkin, he scribbled down something to Ryou and passed it to the boy. Ryou peeked at the note and quickly crumpled the napkin, blushing. Khalid laughed and gave Ryou a squeeze.

"Eating ice cream in a hurry won't do a person any good." Yugi shook his head sadly at the thought of someone eating ice cream quickly.
"What did Atem want to talk to you about?" Khalid asked in a low voice. He, Ryou, Kira, and Kai were sitting at their own table.
"He still doesn't like us being together." Ryou answered simply, tearing the napkin into neat little strips. "We'll talk about it later. I'm done with my ice cream." He had hardly eaten it, but it was beginning to drip and he didn't want to keep holding it.

"Your son eats more than you." Khalid complained, taking Ryou's cone away from him and getting up. He threw it away, along with his own, and got Ryou some napkins for his fingers, which had gotten melted ice cream all over them. He handed them to Ryou, who hastily began to wipe his fingers off. He was sorely tempted to lick the melted ice cream off himself, but couldn't bring himself to do it. Not with all these others around. He knew it would lead from one thing to another and he knew Ryou would want to spend more time with Kira before having sex with Khalid ever again. Khalid felt that this wasn't fair. He didn't voice such opinions, however. Yugi munched down the last of his soggy cone.
