"What flavor does everyone want? Just have something in mind beforehand." Ryou said, during a lull in the conversation. "Khalid, I already know what you want. What about you others?" "Um... bubblegum. If they have it." Yugi said hesitantly. "Vanilla." Atem replied gruffly, glaring at Ryou. The look he gave the boy was a mingled one of disgust and anger.

"Anything is fine with me" kira said. She was happly with anything.
"Peanut butter!" kawi said happly.
Ember shruged"vanilla is fine with me."

"All excellent choices." Khalid grumbled. He didn't see any reason to be so cheerful. Cheeriness bothered him. Plus, Ryou was avoiding him. He wondered what the sleeping arrangements would be. "Don't be so dour." Ryou said, rolling his eyes. Khalid showed his teeth at Ryou in something that could have been a smile and could have been a snarl.

"I'm sorry if I do not meet the appropriate level of glee the others are showing." Khalid grumbled, and Ryou broke away from Kira to walk alongside his husband. Khalid kissed Ryou impulsively but gave him a little push when he realized they were nearing the ice cream place. Ryou went back to his position next to Kira.

Khalid put on a sudden smile that was so fake Atem broke out of his own grumpy mood to snicker. It didn't go any farther than a snicker, however. He was furious at Ryou. He had just gotten Kira back, and what did he do? Well, he was clearly intending on staying with Khalid. Was Kira to merely be forgotten, or would it be some kind of open relationship? He was disgusted with the whole deal. "Ah, here we are." Ryou said, as they approached the small shop on the edge of the sand. He went up to the window, giving a friendly greeting to the worker. "Hello. I'll have seven large cones. Two vanilla, one chocolate, one bubblegum, one chocolate, one butter pecan and one chocolate chip cookie dough. Also, a small bowl of vanilla." The worker seemed a bit overwhelmed by the large order, but he had written down everything and nodded, telling them it would be a little bit.

"Keem Keem!" Kai said clapping. Kira chuckled "it's comming" she told him.
Kawi smiled and hugged yugi.

Ryou had been told the price and had put the money on the counter. Atem approached and asked to have a private word with him. Ryou nodded cheerfully and followed the yami a distance away. Khalid frowned, but ignored the two and sat down on a bench. Atem's angry tone could be heard, though not his words. Yugi chose to ignore it as though it wasn't going on. "So how are you, Kira?"

"Im ok..." Kira said looking to yugi. Kai was playing with a plastic spoon his mother had given him.

[Gaia isn't loading for me on Firefox. At the bottom it says 'Waiting for edge.quantserve.com...' and nothing shows up on the page. It works fine on IE. Do you know what's up?]
"That's good." Yugi said brightly, smiling at her. He sat down at a table and brought Kawi down along with him.

"Mmm-hmm." Yugi agreed pleasantly. Atem and Ryou returned, just in time, because the ice cream had been scooped out. Ryou seemed to be his normal placid self, but Atem looked troubled still. Ryou accepted the rack he had been given and passed out the cones to their owners, then returned the rack. He took a seat next to Kira, with his chocolate chip cookie dough. He had gotten her chocolate.

Khalid moved next to Ryou, but the boy didn't look at him. Atem gave his own ice cream a disapproving look, but began to eat it. Yugi was blushing at his absurdly blue ice cream, compared to the others' more normal flavored cones, but proceeded to eat in any case.
