To me, the manga is the best version of the series--and when people say "OMG DBZ SUX HURR HURR" they're referring to the anime. Which had its good moments, but tended to drag... for sickeningly long periods of time. The final exchanges of Gokuu vs. Freeza actually FELT like five very long minutes in the manga. xd And now you've got me wanting to change my wallpaper from its current (and beautiful) Adrian Tsang One Piece setup. *is currently looking for this pic in 1024x768* xd

Very true...the anime really only has the redeeming quality of good voice acting...Deity loves the characters' voices. But sometimes the art was just plain horrible...and the anime butchered canon on more than one occasion. The Garlic Jr. episodes, for one...or the fact that Vegetto fought Super Buu while staying in base form...he wouldn't have stood any chance in base form against Buu. That's why he went Super Saiya-jin immediately in th'manga... > <;;;
A lot of what people find wrong with Dragon Ball is found mainly in the anime.
...and sorreh...deity doesn't have that picture. ^o^;

Yeah. I was kinda surprised when I SAW that fight in the anime, when Vegetto fought Super Buu for a little while. In any case, I gotta say that Dragonball filler in some respects is a lot better than Naruto filler--the episode where Gokuu and Piccolo have to get drivers' licenses is great. xd

Deity wouldn't know about Naruto...but that episode is funny. xD The examiner tells Son to "give him the wheel". So...Son chops it off and hands it to'im... whee
Heard that the Naruto anime blows...seen screenshots, and the art is awful. The manga's really good, tho'... =3

Anonymooo Kaminosai And he seemed to lighten up on that stuff, now he wants a melee fight. I'm certainly not going to deny it to him. Kill him. Kill him hard. Mooo vs. Brahm would be such a badass fight, you have no idea--well, you do. xd Aye. XD I hope we get a chance for it at some point. And the Dragonball manga was honestly pretty good. Those fireballs that typicall took four or five episodes to hit their mark in the anime only took so long as you felt like looking at the panel. XD

When the Naruto anime is following canon, it's great stuff. Incredibly fluid animation, sometimes theatrical-quality or better (especially the episodes directed by Matsumoto Norio). The filler, however, is some of the most horribly-written crap ever. xd
And I do have a few good things to say about the One Piece anime (even though I prefer the manga over it by leaps and bounds)-- Luffy being voiced by Krillin/Kuririn/Ku Li Lin's voice actor? Brilliant. The animation is consistently good--it's never amazing, but it's consistent the entire way through, and that's more than I can say for A LOT of long-running anime series on TV. Also, with One Piece filler, it tends to be so passably good that you can't tell whether it's filler or not if you haven't read the manga. But yes, I prefer the manga over the anime. The current CP9 storyarc kicks boatloads of a**. 3nodding

I think the translations I'm reading on One Piece are still a bit behind. But I have to say, Franky rocks my socks. Also, Chopper is hella scary now. eek

Oh, yes...I sit and read this stuff. But, personally I jsut don't like the entire idea of DBZ. Just not my thing.

Tru Punky Well, good fight, Mooo. I knew I wouldn't win, but figured I'd try by damnest. xp Don't knock yourself Tru, you did damn good during that fight. And Mooo's no easy opponent. You stood by your character's strengths and limits and didn't argue or whine at all from what I saw. If anything that puts you above 90% of the people here. Kudo's to you kid. 3nodding

Me being confident in winning didn't mean I was gonna. That was one hell of a fight--thank you very much, Tru. Now you just play the first ending theme from Hajime no Ippo as the medics cart Tru out and tend to Mooo, and all is well. xd And I gotta admit, Kami, UberChopper is terrifying--s**t, that's right, I still have chapter 410 to read!

Yeah, Kami's right. I didn't win by overwhelming skill or anything like that--you took your character, played her right, and when he had disputes, we settled them amicably. It was a great match, and there's definitely no shame in this loss. Who knows--next time, I'll probably get taken out. 3nodding

Thank you, both. xp Yeah, we settled our disputes, all went well. It was better then most fights I've used Tru in.
Mooo, I really wish I could understand that video. xd I know it has to do with a boxing match, that's all I got from it.
