scullylam this film was really really really great. you have to stay after the ending credits for closure on a story line. but it was so good and also there is a little part that is reminence of the pirates attraction ride at walt disney world and disneyland. and of course if you love that ride, you'll notice it. but this film is possibly the best in the series... maybe. and of course i like them all because i love the ride. *lol* actually, i don't see "pirates" being overrated. what's overrated is "shrek 3." it has adult humor and it's not a child's film. and yes disney has opened "pirates" early but you know, they just want to compete with "spiderman 3." so, think what you will but i really love this film series. "yo ho! yo ho! a pirate's life for me!" mrgreen I love the pirates' movies! I unfortunately am very busy, and will probably be way too busy for the next 2 weeks, so I'll have to wait until then to go to the movies And yeah, shrek is horribly overrated And amazingly, it's much funnier is Spanish! (I usually stick with the original language, but shrek's an exception)

You have to stay after the credits? I have to remember that, everyone I'm with usually wants to just get up and walk out. xd
I like Shrek. It really isn't for kids though. My friend and I were talking about that when we went to see 3 'cause there was a crapload of little kids there.

you know, it gets boring when mike meyers goes to interviews on different talk shows and the scene when shrek is talking "in da hood" to that prince is always played. that is even shown as a commercial on television.
yes, you must stay after the credits dog. hopefully in the last film you saw what happened after the credits as well. 3nodding

That part wasn't every funny, if you ask me, but the movie overall wasn't too bad. I never really watch interviews though. xd
No. sweatdrop Like I said, everyone is always 'Let's GO!' and I don't want to sit all by myself in the theater. What did I miss in the last movie? ...Would it be on the DVD if I skipped through the credits, or was it a theater only kinda thing?

dog, it's on the dvd. you can fast forward the ending credits to see it. biggrin
even though this film was about 3 hours long, i felt like it went fast. and you know, if this was shown in the past, like 1950s, there would have been an intermission. but with today, we don't have that because we are a "let's do everything fast and get it out of the way" society. and if you want to talk about too long, i really didn't like the "lord of the rings" films. those were long with a lot of fighting and they got boring at times. (yeah... i didn't like lotr because it was too fantasy for me and tolken scares me oh and also his fans scare me. xd )
