Sub just looked at Chaos with a cold gaze, one which questioned the man's mental state for coming in here and slamming his door and then having the audacity to just thrown papers down on his desk. "First off, you should be so glad my Bisharp isn't here at the moment, he would have skewered you by now. Second...give me a moment to read these." The man told his teammate, picking up the papers, thumbing through them as he skimmed the information to just get a gist of what he needed to know. "So that means if she screws up I come for your head, right?"

Sub would stare at Chaos long and hard. He like to think he knew Chaos pretty well, and knew that he wasn't the type of person to beg or admit fault. The fact that Chaos was essentially groveling at his fight spoke volumes about how desperate he was. "Fine, go find an empty room for her. That is, unless you wish to double up with her in your room. Either way you have my approval." The man said as he spun around in his chair, facing the monitor on the wall behind him. "I'll have GRAY grant her approval to access the SNAG Network as well."

"I'm telling you," Alex said, as Michael strolled up to the front door, "There won't be anyone awake. We should come back later. I don't care what you've heard about this place, it's midnight, and the door's probably-"

"It's not locked." Michael said, his left hand gripping the handle and twisting it smoothly. His right adjusted his sunglasses, then he looked back at his friends. Virtue carrying a sleeping Will in her arms, with Juniper resting comfortably on her shoulders, and Alex and Caduceus bringing up the rear. The Dratini poked its head out of its owner's hair and burbled softly.

"Okay, you two." Alex said, one hand reaching up to rest on Caduceus' head. "It's not locked. But I don't hear anyone inside and there wasn't anyone on the road. Are you sure about this?"

"No." Michael said, then shrugged and stuck his head through the door. Predictably, he heard Virtue growling in frustration behind him- the Kangaskhan hated letting him go first. "Hello!"

"Ah, see?" Michael asked, glancing back at his companions. "The building's friendly enough, at least. Hello, building. I'm coming in now. They'll probably follow me in."

And, more confidently than Alex would've preferred, the older man did just that. He stepped inside and left the door open, and sure enough, he was promptly joined by Virtue (and by extension, Will and Juniper.) Alex hefted her bag onto her shoulder again and rolled her eyes, stepping through behind the Kangaskhan's imposing frame and kicking the door shut with her heel.

"Let's hope you're right."

"I usually am."

"Rumors and hyperbole." Alex crossed her arms. "You said you were going to get the guy who runs this joint if we came inside. We're inside."

Michael kicked some dirt off his shoes, and gave the room a once-over. "It must've been hyperbole alright, this place doesn't seem nearly as busy as I thought it would be."

Virtue growled at the bird, baring her teeth until Michael placed a hand against her chest. "Easy now. It doesn't mean nothin' by it, I'm sure. My name's Michael, this is Virtue, the kid in her arms is Will, that's his Eevee Juniper, and-"

Alex stepped forward, grasping Sub's hand tightly and shaking it like she was operating a slot machine. "I'm Alex. The bookworm on my head is called Caduceus. We heard there was some esoteric group up here, I assume you're in charge?"

"Well, I'd like to know your name, first." Michael said. "And might be you could give us a run down on what exactly you all really do up here, since all I heard were rumors."
