Meriko I believe she means slash as in homosexual erotica. Did you know that the first slash fanfiction written - so far as anyone can tell - was a Kirk/Spock written by a bored, middle-aged housewife? *gag* Some characters should not be slashed. It's just implausible to the nth degree. Some characters, in fact, are slashable from a reality-check standpoint. James T. Kirk is not one of them.
Anyone who writes Picard slash will be perma-banned from this shop. *rawr* O.o I don't even watch Star Trek, but that still sounds bad. gonk

Tiana Sidhe: Entirely possible. I didn't pay much attention to her overall. Picard and Data were the only reasons I watched that show. heart They were the only things that saved Nemesis from being the most unwatchable Star Trek movie ever, in my opinion. My God...that movie had plot holes big enough to pour the Pacfic into. gonk
If you had a deathmatch between "The One" and "Star Trek: Nemesis" as to who was the plothole champion, I honestly have no idea who would win.
*compares Midnight3476 and Kimini* To my eyes Kimi seems a tad more purple-ish. They're similar enough to be confusing to me though. *lol*

Midnight3476: You can post in whatever text color and style you want. You're not responsible for the fact that I don't pay attention to usernames when I'm reading replies.
Batman Begins is now my second favorite movie of all time. /random

@Meriko: Yeah, I cringe every time I watch Nemesis. The script was so Swiss-cheesy, I'm surprised it even made it into the light of the warp reactor. xp Now ST 3 and 4, I love. Leonard Nimoy sure can direct, as they both show. Plus they both show Robin Curtis' Saavik (Kirstie Alley showed too much emotion). heart

When I think that the screenplay for Nemesis made it to the big screen, I'm suddenly wary of dismissing any premise for a fanfic as implausible. Because you know, if Whitebread clone boy can get himself elected prom king of a Romulan penal colony and build the most amazing starship ever built out of prison-issue coveralls and metal spoons without the authorities noticing and then turn said penal colony into an organized force deserving of more reckoning and respect than Klingon Empire in its glory days, then who's to say that Pikachu couldn't try his thing on with Vincent Valentine?
(That last bit, by the way, is an honest-to-God doujinshi I found on e-bay. Weep.)
