It will probably open when the current batch of Academy students graduates. And that could be awhile depending on where they're at. >_> I would suggest that you join another village until the Sand Village opens up. Then (if you can keep up with both of them) you can have a character there, too.
If that option doesn't appeal to you, you will simply have to wait and be patient. ^^

Oh, my god! ^___^ I LOVED that little movie as a kid! It was my very first taste of Japanese animation.
And isn't that how you say 'little brother' in Japanese?

Mmm... crying I am so sick...I have a fever, my head hurts so bad I could spit. AND I'm all achy. It sounds like the flu, but that's not possible. Because I don't want to have the flu.
And why am I sick? Why would such a healthy and active person get sick? MAYBE because our IDIOT coach made us practice for four hours in the rain while it was...31 degrees F outside? RAWR!!!! scream How stupid can you be?! Ugh. I'm totally throwing up on her if at all possible. It's my 'sick' life's mission.
