genric Galdrea *whines* i want all the new G-LOL stuff!! it's so prettiness!!!! i just went and checked out the G-lol stuff, the shoes alone are 2000 gold i know! it's so expensive, and i'm still questing for every donation letter put out this year!

Why do rich people buy such ugly designer fashions that not even a homeless person would want to wear? It's a dilemma, no?
Actually, people on Gaia just see stuff they like and go for it. My original avie didn't need any high expense stuff based on the simulation I ran, so I got his shtuff fairly easily. On occasion I have wanted to get certain items but the price scares me away. And I'm too busy in real life to care about questing. Nyes.

Ok i'm looking for some help in creating a roleplay. I'm creating a combination roleplay involving superpowers, and a school type setting. (I'm heavily basing it on the Aberrant roleplay game if anyone knows anything about that.) But i'm looking for help, mostly for someone to collaborate with, bounce ideas around with and the like. Is anyone out there interested?

There are accually a few RP's already like that. Kerya school, and Children of the Red King. I think that there might be a few others, but I am not so sure.

Yeah, it's never very fun to have two threads with a similar theme. Why split the population in having to choose between two RPs when you can have all of them converge in the same one? If you're still looking for something completely different, then why not?

I saw the children one, but it seemed far too limited, allowing only 12 people and only one power per person. and no two people can have the same power. I don't like that system. I couldn't even find the other one. This will be sort of a guided roleplay, where certain elements are introduced as time goes on. But at first like i said it starts out simple.

Well here's the thing: I believe Aisling made that system because it sort of resembled the book. I think in the book, there's only one person with each power. Also, it's very difficult to get anywhere near 12 people interested in an RP. Most RPs thrive very well with a number of people for quite a while and gain a few hundred posts. By that time, most people are unwilling to join up because they feel they have missed too much. From what I understand, the idea of having only one person a power is to keep there from being too many people with the same power. Having four telekinetics would make things very blah very quickly, especially for me as the in-house telekinetic. Aisling probably just wanted to avoid that.
If two people wanted a power, I'm sure she'd allow it. Three might be stretching it, but you know. Just trying to keep things realistic, for both the GM and the members. But if your concept is similar...talking to Aisling Fallenfeather. She was thinking of starting up a "Part 2." If you bring more people into the fold, it could produce a highly active and very popular RP. And that's always fun.

*nods* See that's the thing though. My system isn't going to be all that similiar. First off the powers will be more varied and more specific. I'm relying heavily on the Aberrant roleplaying game system but structuring the storyline differently. And the way i'm setting up the story line, anyone who wants to join can just be a new arrival at the academy. The focus, especially at first will be on the academy and on interactions between students not so much on missions or that sort of thing.
I'm not trying to be stubborn >_> (though admittedly that IS my nature ninja ). I just have had this idea for a roleplay for awhile and had no where i was really comfortable putting it. Talon showed me this guild and told me i would be perfectly safe putting it here without having to worry about idiots or jerks posting just to ruin the story. So i'm really psyched about putting it up. I'm just fine tuning it a bit.
