"Oh...." Kira said softly. she looked down gently running her fingers threw kai's hair. He cooed happly looking up to his mother.
Luci laughed "No she's perfectly broken. It dosent take me long to break my pets"

"Do you want to just... Would you rather wait a few days before the others know? If you don't want to see them, if you'd rather settle down, that's fine." Ryou said, his voice still shaking. He took a glass down and filled it with orange juice, moving over to Kira and offering it to her. "That must be nice." Khalid said, getting to his feet. He brushed dirt from his pants. "I'm going to go see what they're up to. Coming?"

"O-Ok..." kira said. she was unsure of what she wanted to do. She was a bit overwelmed at just being living.She took a sip of the orange juice.
"Ok" Luci said hopping up and following khalid.

Ryou was heading back to the counter to get his own glass of juice when the back door opened. He backed away when Khalid entered, but smiled wearily. This smile flickered somewhat when he saw Luci behind Khalid, but didn't comment at all. "Do you want a drink?" He offered, to perhaps either of them. Khalid moved his gaze away from Kira and stared at Ryou. He moved out of the doorway to let Luci enter and stood next to his husband. "Sure. But I can get my own." He said softly, taking the orange juice carton from the boy. "I'm surprised that you and Kira aren't sobbing in each other's arms anymore. I hope nothing happened."

"Got any liqur?" luci asked. He walked over to kira who had started to tremble softly when he got near. "Cute kid." luci said running his pale fingers threw kai's hair. Because he looked to much like khalid kai whimpered and squirmed closer to his mother.

"It's in there." Khalid said, with a nod towards the liquor cabinet. He decided to stick with juice, only because it was still morning. Ryou hadn't responded to what he had said, and he could tell that his husband was tense. Did he not like Luci being there? Probably not. He wasn't exactly a pleasant fellow to be around. "Have you called the others yet, or are you waiting?" "We're..." Ryou hesitated, glancing at Kira then back at Khalid. "I think we're waiting." He said softly, forgetting Kira's response. She seemed to be very out of it. He didn't blame her.

"Sweet" luci said and walked away to the cabnet. Kai had started crying not liking there being two khalids "oh there there" kira said rocking her son gently.

Khalid ran a hand through Ryou's hair, teasing the boy. He knew that Ryou was uncomfortable with Kira back, uncomfortable with being intimate with another person. He shrugged Khalid off and leaned against the counter, not knowing what to say.

Kai opened his eyes.the first thing he spotted was khalid. he let out a frightened cry covering his eyes. this confused kira "Why is he afraid of you?" kira asked khalid.
Luci grinned evil "I know why.." he cooed playfully.

Khalid struggled to conceal a smirk. He spoke expressionlessly. "Probably because of what I did to Ember. I was about to kill him, but Kawi and Ember kept getting in my way. So I had to knock Kawi out and hurt Ember. I was about to kill him when I was told I didn't have to." He smiled at Kira, his eyes glittering coldly. "Don't worry. Ember's alive, and he's fine. Everything turned out happy in the end."

Ryou stared at Khalid in some shock. Khalid had tried to kill Kai? Why wasn't he told of this? He began to speak, but hardly got one syllable uttered when Khalid whirled around to face him. “Yes, Ryou dear, I really did that. But if you haven’t noticed, which you haven’t, Kai is still alive. Was that what you were about to ask me, my sweet? He isn’t dead, I wasn’t myself at the time. Kindly refrain from mentioning it to me at all.” He smiled, and Ryou looked slightly uncertain. He knew that Khalid usually meant well when it came to Kai, and knew how little Khalid was in control of his body at times. He rubbed his bruised wrist, thinking of what had happened that morning, but returned Khalid’s smile, murmuring an apology.

Yugi looked out the window. He was thrilled to have Kawi back, but was even more excited to share the good news. "I think the others should be up by now. Can we call them? Please?" Khalid looked towards Kai, then back up at Ryou. He spoke casually, as though it were a normal day. "I see you got him cleaned up fine. Did you get the bed?" Ryou shook his head and Khalid sighed, muttering to himself dismally. "Feed these guys. You can clean up the bed later. I'm going outside for a moment." He gestured towards Kira, Kai, and Luci at the first statement.
