Meryll looked up at Yuki. "Hm? Oh...I was just thinking about the man who attacked me....I managed to defend myself, obviously, but I injured him pretty badly and I'm just wondering if he might get into this hospital and find me...he'd be really mad." She said with a shiver and curled up tighter.

((WAHOO! I see people have been keeping this thread alive. Thank you, Thank you! Update on how I am doing!
I can eat crackers, I can eat soup, but not tomato soup.
I can eat eggs, noodles, bolagna, ham, turky, chicken, pot pie (chicken, pork, beef, etc.), I CAN NOT EAT BREAD OR WAFFLES ETC.
Other than thta, I only have a few more days until I'm off anti-biotics and pain killers.
On another note, I'm SUUPER SORRY that you all are getting writers block! That sucks! But I'm SUPER HAPPY that you're all at least trying. Now I'm off to bed agaion, and I'll talk to you all later. Bye!))

((Okay, so I only have 2 hourse on the computer during the week days now! DAMN IT ALL! However, I'm doinbg SOOOOO Much better! Miki, I am taking myself back and I'm going to add a HUGE piece of drama here 'cause no one is really doing anything! Sorry for those of you who had plans.))
Out of no where, as an awkward silence fell upon them, a loud gun shot was heard. Almost instantly, nurses where screaming orders along the lines of, "Close and lock the doors!", and "Call the police and fire department!".
Yuki instantly was on her knees on the floor covering her head, whimpering in fear. After what happened lass than a month before, she was scared of any loud noise like that.
Tears began rolling down her cheek as two nurses with medication and four imergancy(sp? I suck at spelling today) kits, walked in. One, who just so happened to have been the one who helped her when she was shot sighed. "Typical reaction."
"Huh?"
This woman was shot and she's reacting to the one she heard down stairs. I didn't think it was that loud."

Miki had sat back onto the chair and playing with the hair of the new toy, when a loud shot seemed to fill the silence. The young girl, sort of used to hte sound of gunshots because of her travels, wasn't really fazed by the ordeal too much.
But what worried her, was the sudden fear and helplessness that Ms. Yuki suddenly displayed. She was on her knees and in tears. But before the girl could make any sort of connection, nurses suddenly ran into the room, and one of them sighed, seeming to know something.
At the news, Miki looked at the woman almost in shock, clutching onto the item in her hands: Ms. Yuki had been SHOT?! What?
However, then something ELSE hit her that made her slightly panic now; where was the boy from earlier?
Benny was slowly making his way back out into the main lobby; bobbling what looked like a tray. On the way down, the doctor from before had asked him to go get Miki some food as well, since she needed to eat. So, upon the tray lay a pile of Mac and Cheese, a medium cup of fruit (hopefully, if she ate nothing else, it was that), and a bottle of water.
However as he was making his way through the lobby, a sudden shot ran out, whizzing past hte boy's ear and hitting the one behind him. The boy dropped the tray completely and ducked, much like everyone else, and he hid under a lobby chair as everyone was still down. Angry now, though his heart still beating as if it were going to burst from his chest, he peeked up slightly and looked around, looking for whatever figure was still standing and thus responsible for the hold-up, he crawled under chairs to make his way towards the fool.

((I know right/ I start school tomorrow.))
the nurse sighed again and opened one of the kits, taking out a bottle of pills. She also took out one of four bottles of water and opened it.
"Yuki, why don't you take one of these and lie down in that bed over there?"
Yuki, who was too scared to care, took a pill and laid down, curled in a ball on top of the sheets. Soon she could feel the affects of whatever she'd taken. She was now dizzy and felt light headed, almost like she was floating before her heavy eyelids shut on her, shrouding her in a blanket of darkness that she welcomed happily to escape reality, even if for just moments.
Outside, police and firemen were coming around. A police officer got on a mega phone and yelled, "Come out and drop the weapon, or we'll be forced to call in the S.W.A.T. teams!"
The man however chuckled and said, barely audiable(sp?), You wish. I'm here to finish the job," and with that he headed off to find Yuki.

Ciel's eyes snapped open in shock. What was that? The sound was familiar...yet she couldn't figure out what it was. She looked around the room wondering what happened just as Yuki dropped to her knees. She was holding her head and crying as if she were trying to sheild herself from something.
"Yuki...what's--" A nurse carrying an emergency kit burst in to the room. She went over to Yuki "This woman was shot and she's reacting to the one she heard down stairs. I didn't think it was that loud."
Ciel froze. So it was a gunshot...and... Her eyes widened in disbelief. Yuki had been shot?

Meryll shivered at the drama but managed to keep her cool. She jumped up from the bed and stepped closer to the nurse. "What exactly is going on down there! Is there a psycho? Or does the man have a broken arm..." Her already relatively quiet voice trailed off even more so as she thought about her attacker.

((Sorry I was at a funeral in Mass. The horrible Irony you ask? The same day the person did, was the same day my grandmother got in a car accendent in Canada. The worst Irony? Her second husband died in a car crash in May. But she'll be fine. She's stable. But the person who died hated my grandmother with a passion!))
Yuki was finally in deep enough sleep that the nurse gently tucked her in. "Okay. I'm not entirely sure, but I was informed that she was shot, about a month ago maybe? I can't remember, but she was shot while talking to her frined in the kitchen. Even worse, no one saw who it was. The person got away, and whoever it was had deadly accuracy. Luckily, he missed his target though. Instead he hit her side. And about down stairs..."
The other nurse finished her co-worker. "A man with a gun. We don't think he's here for money, and we highly doubt it's for drugs--"
There was a loud few bangs on the door. The nurses looked over at the door and waited for another noise. One of the nurses could hear the man load the gun and yelled, "Get down!" before ducking.

Meryll dove under her bed for some form of cover and threw her arms over her head, even though her injured arm burned at the sudden movement. She clenched her teeth together and braced herself for the gunshots to come.

Just then, a man kicked the door in, holding a gun at the ready. "Tell me where she is."
"Who is 'she' sir? Please be spacific."
You know d**n well who I'm talkin' about! Where's Yuki?!"
Yuki began to wake up from the yelling, fighting off the drug as much as she could. She rolled her head over only to see a man with a gun. Her eyes widened. She knew this man, but she'd known him as a child. Not continuing to notice the gun, she groggily sat up and held her head. "What's with all the yelling? And why are you here Sammie? I thought your dad was thrown into state prison and your mom didn't want you--"
He held a gun to Yuki's forehead. She hadn't even heard him moving.
"Give me two reasons I shouldn't kill you know, and I'll spare you until later."
Yuki was frozen in her spot, staring at the man who was once a friend in front of her.
"NOW, Yuki! I don't have all night! Unless you want me to kill you like I tried to, oh, how long ago was it? A moth or two maybe?"
"Y-You d-did th-that?"
"Yuki, just give me TWO D**N REASONS! I'll be gone for at least four years! Long enough to let you get in some more double shifts at your stupid cafe! Just answer me!"
Outside there were cops among cops getting ready for the S.W.A.T. teams. Finally after moments of tensioned waiting, three vans arrived. "One van for each floor, let's go, move it, move it! We're looking at a man, probably in his early twenties, with a gun, we're unsure of what kind, in a hospital full of people. He's probably looking to finish a job."
The teams began pouring into the hospital and searching each room. None of them even near Yuki's room.

Meryll slowly looked out from under the cover she'd picked as the man yelled and her anger slowly rose. She had just met these people, and already she felt protective of them. She stood up and strode over to the man quietly.
Stepping around to the side with the arm raised and pointing the gun, she pulled a hand to her waist and formed a "spearhead" with her hand and quickly drove it into his armpit, numbing the whole arm. "Leave her alone!" She said through clenched teeth and quickly kicked away the gun, but careful to keep her guard up if he attacked.
((I hope you don't mind that action, it's just Meryll's character and I can kinda fix the actions in the next reply if you really needed.))
