Faust was trembling too violently to draw the blood. "I need help," he said softly. "Mephisto, will you...?"
Mephistophiles took the needle. He had to jab several times before he got the vein, ultimately doing no worse a job than Faust might have. But Faust seemed to be seriously doubting his own abilities and judgements.
