Rei sighed and grabed a bucket that was in the room headed out to the village well.

A motherly-looking woman was getting some water out, and glanced up at Rei for just a second before looking back down at the well. "Where have you been? What with the pharaoh's men everywhere, this is hardly the time to be playing such games." Akila snapped, believing that she was speaking to Bakura.

Rei turned twards her blinking "Eh?" her eyes then widen slightly a smile on her face.

Akila looked up and realized that it was a girl she was speaking to. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She exclaimed, pouring the water the had gotten into a falsk she always carried by her side. "I mistook you for another. Ignore an old woman's ramblings." She laughed slightly, not recognizing Rei in the least.

Rei blinked now slightly confused "You wouldent happen to know who Iam would you?" she asked.

Akila looked a bit nervous. Maybe this was Bakura... could he be playing a game with her. "Bakura?" She guessed in a whisper.

Rei sighed softly.She was so confused now "No..I'm sorry for bugging you..." she said.She dident seem to be bothered by bakuras name like most would be.She gathered water into the bucket and headed back to the inn.

Akila looked just as confused as the not-Bakura person did, and she shook her head. Well, she still didn't know if he was captured or not. Nobody did. Except the pharaoh...

Rei soon got back to the inn heading into the room with the tub.After pouring the water in she striped and began bathing.

Bakura rolled onto his back, looking up at the sky, squinting. So close... Dammit, he had been so close to getting one of the Millennium Items. Had the wall not collapsed...Well, no use crying over spilled blood. Now the pharaoh was just going to increase his defenses, and there were going to be guards sent out to try and locate him. Sitting up, Bakura was thankful for his little oasis. Had he not discovered this, he might have just died. No, he was alive now. He would stay here, and get his health back. Then he would strike again.

After bathing and changing Rei looked out of a window looking up to the sky "I wonder....If he still rembers me..." she said softly to herself.

At night. Bakura would part from his beloved oasis at night, when the sun hid away, and go locate Akila. Hopefully the woman had stayed where he had instructed her to. Then he would stay there for a little bit to see what the pharaoh's next actions were. Gossip spread around quickly, but he wouldn't hear any of it here. Yes, all he would have to do is wait until the sun set...

Rei yawned softly.Well shehad rented the room for a night.Laying on the mats that made up the bed she closed her eyes.Soon she fell asleep.

Bakura reached the village and was pleased to see nobody out at this time. He jumped off of his horse, his red coat providing needed warmth during the desert's freezing night. He tensed up, waiting to see if anybody was outside, then grabbed his horse's reins and led it down the empty street.

Rei sat up sweating from another bad dream.She sighed and looked out the window at the star lit night "well this sure sucks.." she muttered softly in japanese.Taking her old clothes she headed out of the in onto the empty street.
