As you near the man lying in the road you notice that he is unconcious. You also notice that his skin is pale, almost white. He is also extremely skinny. "Skin and bones" as they say. His cheek bones are quite prominent, and it is obvious that he has not eaten a full meal for far too long. The dragon, determined to find help for this poor soul, continues draggin the corpse toward the inn. When he sees Varnis and Lugh emerge from the tavern. When Varnis askes what happened to the man the dragon looks him in the eyes. Though the dragon can not speak Varnis can almost read the dragons thoughts, and a single request becomes clear. Please help him.

Varnis looks at the dragon for a moment more before moving over to where the man is. "I will carry him inside then." He told the dragon as he slid his arms under the man's body, and carried the man like you would carry an injured person. Looking into the Inn, he ignored the toys and what everyone was doing. Walking over to the bar, he laid the man on the bar, and placed something under his head as a pillow. "Is there anyone in here that can heal?" Varnis asked out loud before turning back to the bar, and the bartender. "I think this man needs water and food. I will pay for it." He said to the bartender.
((Who controls the bartender? >.< ))

Upon seeing Varnis and another warrior, walk in with a limp form in tow, Van puts the toy he had previously been examining back down on the table and makes his way over. The unconscious man was young, possibly only a few years older than himself, though it was impossible to be certain with the condition his body was currently in. I am no healer. he interjected, However, it seems that this man is suffering mainly from severe mall nourishment. Food and water would benefit him the most... and he said, wrinkling his nose a little. and perhaps a bath. But if it would help I do have this. With that he holds out a small bottle of healing formula.
(There are once again two toys available.)

(I don't think any particular person is assigned to controling the bartender. I usually just make him do whatever seems fit for a bartender to do, and I think everyone else does the same.)
The bartender quickly brings some bread and water for the man on the bar. He pours the water down the man's throat, and life seems to flow into him. His eyes flutter open, and he speaks two barely audible words. "Thank you." The bartender gives the man some bread, and though he has barely the strength to lift it to his mouth he devours it quickly and thankfully. Feeling much better now he turns to his beloved servant and speaks. "Thank you Lucifer. From the bottom of my heart." The dragon seeing that his master no longer needs his assistance dematerialises into thin air. "And thank you all as well. I haven't eaten or drank anything in... well... I'm not quite sure." He speaks lying back on the table exhausted.

Van watches as the little dragon dematerializes, then addresses the new darkly clad figure, hands folded behind his back. Greetings, my name is Van. Gesturing to Varnis and Lugh, These two brought you in from outside. You look as though you have been through quite an ordeal. Might you enlighten us as to your predicament?

Varnis watched and listened to the man as the dragon left. Opening his mouth to speak, Van beat him, and said exactly what he was about to. Damn... Read my mind... He thought as he smiled for a second, and listened in.

Van cocked his head and arched an eye brow in Varnis's direction, a slightly amused expression on his face. Then turned back to the conversation at hand.

Lugh kept to himself for a moment, this starving man before him reminded him of darker times.
"Your familiar is very loyal to save his master like that," Lugh said, as he found a blanket for the man, "its cold out there, maybe a spot near the fire would ease your pains."

Kail was reading a book at his corner table while basidia played with the toy gun when the emaciated young was brought into the tavern. Drawn by the commotion, He looks up to recognize a very familer face. Even in his dilapidated state Kail immediately recognized him for who he was. "Luc!" Kail shouts as he jumps up from the table. He quickly makes his way across the room and forces himself between the other adventures. "Luc, good lord, What happened to you? Did you get lost again? I haven't heard from you since the incident at the Manor. "
Basidia stood by holding th toy gun, a little confused and a little worried. She had never met this person before but it was clear he had ties to her fathers past. She had not seen ever Kail act this way before.

"Hey there Kail." Luc says, happy to see his old friend. "It seems you know me all too well. Yes, I got lost in the miyr school of necromancy and black magic. I lost all sense of time, and direction, so I have no idea how long I was down there. If it weren't for Lucifer I would have died a while ago. He caught me rats to eat, and eventually found the way out. I'm sorry if my story wasn't as exiting as you were all hoping. So how have things been around miyr?"
(Oh and sorry about dis-appearing in the middle of Morty's Wagon train. Thanks for finishing it out for me. smile )

You got lost... in a school building? Van replies incredulously, not quite able to believe the confession he had heard.

"Well, now that I'm feeling a little better I guess I could get off the bar. But as for what I will do with my life? I'll guess I'll go home, and hone my magical skills. I think I'll try to develoup some sort of spell to better my sense of direction." Luc quickly finishes off his food, and water. "Could I have a mug of hot water?" Luc askes the bartender, and as the bartender quickly obliges, Luc pours a red powder from a leather pouch into it, stirrs it, and takes it over to a seat next to the fire. "Thanks for the blanket." Luc says to Lugh. He then wraps up in it, and drinks his tea silently. What will I do with my life now? Luc thinks to himself. I hadn't really thought about it, I've just been happy to be alive.

Perhaps, you overestimate the scope of my question friend. Van said smiling. But, contemplating the direction and purpose of one's life is a worth while endeavor. To clarify, I meant simply to ask if you had family here or place to go. Or, seeing as how you are a wizard, were you planing on enrolling at the magick school and taking residence as a student?
