Snowfur watched, as the wolf limped closer, and it suddenly said, "Loki, leader of the Kousetsu tribe, troubling times are growing close."

((Naturally, we make a prophetic apparaition.))
Loki immediately shielded Snowfur further, not trusting this creature at all. How could he be sure that this was a friendly apparation? There were multiple forces at work in their world, and not all were benevolent. "And to whom am I speaking, ancient one?"

"I, am the spirit of the snow, the guardian of the lake and its forests, and I have come to warn you of a terrible diaster, that might wipe out the Kousetsu and all surrounding tribes. The mountain, it was long ago a volcano, which errupted and wiped out the forests, but within the years, they have grown back. But now, it is again ready to reach out with its paw of flaming death, to wipe out the tribes, you must all travel out of your beloved forest, until you reach the canyons of shelter, until it has been delt with by me, and the Others, we will not let yours, nor any other tribes perish." And with that, he vaporated into the air.

Loki felt a gust of wind as the spirit moved on. An agent of their Higher being, it seemed. "Leave the lands for a time...?" He sighed; this was possibly the most inconvenient of times for this to be happening. Rae and Kyou would be having kits soon, and they could not be raised on the road.
Rae walked to Loki, looking to the place where the form had disappeared from. "I already know what you're thinking Loki, and I suggest you stop now. If that spirit spoke truth, Kyou and I will manage. Six living kits are better than those burned alive."

Loki shook his head, confused. Suddenly, he realized this was exactly what he needed. He needed yo be tested, needed ot have his leadership capabilities tried in order to believe he could really be an Elder. Now was the time to step up and become who he was destined to be.
"Rae, mobilize the others. We may not leave, but we need to be prepared to. I want the hunters hunting and the gatherers searching for any medical supply we may need. I want you and Itsuki to take Snowfur and look for the clearest route to the canyons. Have the others congregate here. We need to plan."

Rae nodded in a business-like manner; it was time to get to work. "Snowfur, follow me. Loki, send Miki out to help Itsuki. I need to find the others before we leave, and it would be best to send a group out ahead of us."
Loki nodded, already headed back to the main group.

Rae sent the message to Sheik quickly, before turnign to look back at Snowfur. "I don't know, little one. I have not been to the canyons in a very long time." Although still highly uncertain of this prophecy, she continued her duty, knowing even Loki was skeptical. "Our best bet is to head west." Promptly, she turned ot hte west and began heading towards the cancons some miles away.

Snowfur walked in step with Rae, until she saw a plump, little vole, scrurrying around in the bushes that were infront of them.

Rae almost instinctively reached out to kill the vole, but noticed its odd behavior. Why was is staring so adamantly at one place in the woods. Curious, she beckoned for Snowfur to follow silently, and found herself at the edge of a clearing, where there appaeared to be other spirits of the same sort. She watched curiously, wondering what was happening.
((We should be renamed the Disney Magic Tribe. XD))

((so true..hey, this should be a movie!! xD gtg))
Snowfur came closer, and watched, fascinated, and saw 6 spirits, one for each tribe, one, was one of everlasting snow, another, of grwing plants, of the moon, another like a green dragon, and one, with the elemnt of fire, and the glint of battle in its eyes. They were discussing their own plan on how to prevent the volcano from erupting.

((We're treading on Higher Being RP, which we can't have yet. They're..diplomats for the HBs. XD))
Rae's eyes moved back and forth as the agents of the respective powers argued, clearly not agreeing on one single point. From what she gathered, they weren't even quiet sure it would erupt. Great. I feel so much better now.She watched the spirits closely, taking note that the Kousestsu wolf was among the six.

Itsuki's ears twitched. 'Something's happening...' Itsuki could sense it. Looking up from the rabbit she was about to catch and kill, Itsuki smelt the air. 'Spirits...' The thought suddenly came to Itsuki. Smelling the air again, Itsuki ran to where Loki and the other's were.
