Yeah, judging by your profile which says you live in Minnesota, it would be far. sweatdrop Well, my family would want to be included. They worry about me when it comes to the internet, particularly Mom since she's not quite sure how to work it most of the time. If I include them in the meeting, though, I'm sure they'd feel better about me actually doing something like that. They know not everyone on the internet is a threat to me, but the ones that are ruin it for the nice people. If I talk to them about this & take them with me, they'll be more likely to say "Yes" than otherwise. If you wanted, you could probably meet me on the way to Alabama. I live in Arkansas, which would be on the way to Alabama if you go south before going east.

*Looks at map of Alabama* Hmm. I didn't realize that Tuscaloosa was that close to Birmingham. Depending on how you're coming south, I'd suggest you get there by way of Memphis. It's a fairly straight shot from there & who wouldn't like an excuse to go to Memphis? Then again, I love the place & visit as often as I can. I've got a few friends at University of Memphis, so I make sure I visit often.

Montgomery has some good stuff. I recommend the Alabama Shakespeare Festival & the nearby museum there. The Shakespeare Festival has a huge statue of the Bard himself, not to mention sprawling meadows with ponds where black swans glide. Quite different from the Shakespeare Festival of Arkansas, let me tell you. The museum has some great pieces, my favorite being "Dr. Imperial's Tree of Knowledge". There's an Italian grill in that same area with some excellent calamari & tiramisu. If you're going to be living in Tuscaloosa, a trip to Montgomery wouldn't be too unreasonable.

Oh, you're that close to the border? I went to Minnesota on my way to Canada, but my group took a way through Wisconsin & Michigan which took quite a while. Then again, the trip was a while back & I was ill at the time, so I really don't know how long it was or exactly where in Minnesota we were before we left... Anyway, that gives me a general idea of where you are. In Arkansas, I'm about 2-3 hours west of the Tennesse border, which makes Memphis a nice day trip.
