"Sure, that sounds like a good idea. The gardens sound like a nice spot today." She nodded and finished the last of the water.

Rohan smiled then stood up, stretching lightly. "The gardens it is!" He first walked over to the door and opened it up, holding it open for her.
((I'll post in the gardens first, if you'd like.))

Tasi stood up as well, and followed him to the door, giving him thanks that he held open the door, and walked outside.
(( That's fine with me. 3nodding ))

Jalceri opened the door for her lovely that trailed not far behind. She smiled watching Merryn walk into the coffeeshop filled with the aura of fresh brewed coffee beans. Jalcer found a table smaller than most at the small shop, a seating just small enough for the both of them, however not cramped like some places tended to be. Jalceri pulled a seat out and smiled glaring at Merryn.
"A seat for beautiful?", she teased walking over to the counter to order their coffees.

Merryn laughed,, a teasing glare on her face as Jalceri walked towards the counter. Following her she put her elbows on the counter and smiled at her dear friend. "So, lovely," she jibed, "coffee that needed in the morning?" Ordering a chai she giggled and placed a hand on Jalceri's shoulder gently, "I'll be waiting." With that she moved back to her seat in quiet contemplation.

Jalceri rolled her eyes at the comment and brought back her cup of black coffee. She raised a brow and starred at Merryn who sat across from herself with a stupid-grin, not saying anything. She took a sip of her coffee and palced it back down infront of her. She began tracing the rim of her coffee cup with her finger tip.
"Something wrong love", she asked notcing Merryn's questionable look.

Looking up in confusion Merryn broke into a confused grin. "Not. Well. I suppose." Sighing she took a sip of her tea and clung to the cup. "I'm not sure what to think of this place anymore. Before being dropped here, I knew everything about myself, and now I just feel so confused." Shaking and clearing her head she reached across the small table and ran a finger down Jalceri's hand and fingers. "Nothing for me to worry about though."

"What changed?", she asked thinking of her home.
Everything had suddenly become more complicated for Jalceri at the Underground aswell. Back home she had no worry, no friend, solitude, she thought that's what she wanted.. Here in the underground.. there were people. This made her magic harder to deal with in fear of scaring everyone away. She did however meet Merryn, but this confused her much more than anything else. She looked back into her coffee and sighed.

Sighing in echo of Jalceri's the small angel set her cup down and stared at it. "I had everything I could want at home. There was never any pain, unless we sought it out, and we could choose to be with someone or have solitude and everyone was the same." Sighing again she shrugged her wings in discomfort and shook her head sadly. "There are.. a lot of people here. And sometimes, you can't help but know what pain and anger are." Trying to cheer the mood up Merryn smiled, but it felt half-hearted.
And then there's emotion.. she thought to herself.

Jalceri looked up at Merryn and nodded in complete agreement. She understood what Merryn was saying and agreed with it. She sank into her seat and blew a kiss at Merryn. This would be the first time Jalceri used her magic in a while, atleast, since she had been to the Underground. From her hand a small purple heart-shaped figure fluttered over to Merryn's cheek and then, soon after, disappeared at the touch of her flesh. Jalceri smiled weakly and took another sip of her coffee.

Merryn smiled and winked back. Commenting on the use of magic with a giggle, "That was beautifully done." Blushing still where the kiss had touched her cheek Merryn tapped a finger to her bottom lip in thought. Holding her hand up after a little bit of time she smiled from ear to ear and blew 'butterfly' kisses back. Blinking softly two tiny butterflies appeared on her cheeks, flying over to Jalceri they alighted on her cheeks and gave her two tiny peck. Merryn blushed again and laughed lightly, "Not as beautiful as yours," she whispered, "but one good turn deserves another."

Jalceri chucked in delight.
"Well I wouldn't say all that", she felt half releaved, using her magic made her feel atleast, a little better, and Merryn didn't seem to mind. It seemed Merryn wasn't as different as she had first contemplated. This pleased her very much, after all, it had been a while since Jalceri had shown any feelings for anything or anyone since Lacuna left their home.

Merryn laughed again and nodded, "I suppose I do tend to over-do it sometimes." Glad that Jalceri seemed more relaxed now she cocked her head to the side like a bird and then sighed. "Tell me about your home.. And your magic? You fascinate me Jalceri."

Jalceri's eyes widened a bit surprised by the request but nodded anyway. She wasn't sure what to leave in or out of her small rant of life, but just let it come out as it wished. Jalceri felt comfortable enough infront of Merryn and no one else really seemed to be around anyway.
"I come from the same place as Lacuna", she began. "I believe I told you I had originally come here looking for her, but anyway.. We grew up in a small town called, Lelac. Most people would refer to Lelac as a humble place, I however, found it to be spellbinding. I was born with natural magic, I'm half angel, half..", her voice trailed off a bit, but she cleared her throat and continued, "demon." "My parents left me with a couple who were unable to have children of their own.. You see, it was a sin to go outside your own breed.. Angels and demons are two different things.. So I was a mistake to them, anyway.. My, well, mortal parents deprived me knowledge of my magic. I knew I was different, that was obvious with my wings and halo, but it wasn't accepted. My mortal parents did all they could to keep me from my true self. They clipped my wings once a month to stop my flying which at a young age, I enjoyed more than anything. I actually didn't realize I had magic until, Lacuna.. Lacuna came upon me in an odd way, her parents had desolated her, much like mine, and left her to herself. She was fascinated by magic and one day I caught her practicing. Long story short- we became friends. I found that I didn't need books or practice to do magic though, I just needed to find a particular state of mind and when that found the magic enveloped anyone near me. I had trouble controlling the strength of my magic mostly because it came from two breeds which did not mix. Lacuna and I found a teacher. A necromancer who taught us how to deal with our magic.. the rest is pretty much history.. Lacuna ran off one day and I looked for her for a long time, always able to sense in some way. That's why I knew to come to the Underground.." Jalceri bit her lip and starred at Merryn's features a bit.
"I guess it's only fair I ask you the same", she said. "Where do you come from..?", she asked.

((i posted once, and it hated me. D: ))
Merryn's face saddened as she listened to Ceri's story. I am so sorry we're like that.. she thought to herself. Nodding at the other angel's story she frowned slightly and added her own story.
"I'm a full angel, so naturally I'm from Heaven. At home, angels don't have souls, you don't really get one until you gain free will. Well, I'd always sort of ignored that not knowing better until I met Jordyn. At the time he was as carefree and thoughtless as I was, but he had a morbid curiosity in human suffering. One day, a human pretended to be hurt so they could better lure an angel down and drain them of their blood." Merryn paused, almost heartbroken at what followed. Taking a deep breath she shoved her bangs out her face. "The angel that left was close to Jordyn and I.. And was killed. Jordyn became enraged, 'How could God let something like this happen?! How could he favor something so vile over us?' After what seemed like years of brooding over it, he found the human that had killed our friend and exacted revenge. While doing so, he decided never to return home. Without Jordyn to punish, it was left to me, his lover, to feel God's anger.. I was banished and somehow ended here, with only my sense of Jordyn and 'Momma' to help me." Shivering she smiled, "But at least I got my wings back. When I first got here they were fake."
Taking a moment to relax, Merryn looked Jalceri's wings up and down. "Are they clipped now?"
Jordyn held the door open for Sakura, kissing her fingers as she glided by. Finding them a suitable table he led her towards it and, inclining his head towards her, asked what she wanted to drink.
