Shadow hits hard as she slwoly wakes up in the vortex. She looks around not seeing anything but darkness.

Jack stared at Britton as he walked off. He growled loudly.
"And I'll get you next time!"
Jack's wounds began to heal already. He growled as he turned to look at the building. This was out of his hands now. He couldn't stop Ayase... he couldn't save anyone either. He could only wait.

Athena rushes in and goes in between Ayase and Itachi....Athena takes the hit for Ayase...Ayase jumps back into the vortex
