He pointed to the top of the 50 story building.

"The only way to is through the Belt Line and to be allowed in. Only one person has evey been in the Archive. Not to mention the fighters there could kill us with a glance. The Belt Liners are much stronger than Catalyxe and they kill everything they see that doesnt belong, without hesitation. Koori hasnt even had luck getting in to it when she can move through the shadows and darkness. Not to mention when you get to the Belt Line its a giant maze that changes as you go through and everything looks the same, no matter what you do top try to navigate it gets ******** up and you end up back at the start. Not to mention a constant flood of Belt Liners as you try to make it through the maze. From what I know, its practicly impenitrable. One more thing about the Belt Liners, they adapt and change. You kill one with one attack, that move no longer works on them. Its the best A.I. every created."

"The designer lived here a while ago, but the in the second coming of the age of Hell, he was killed. So I dont know who else would know."

"My only sugestion is to dont look into this place. The last person who did was abducted and almost killed by the guys who wanted to challenge Babylon City, so I would just push everything I said to the back of your mind and get out of here ASAP."

"Babylon City is the floors above the Belt Line. Its where the real bad asses are. The place where they could kill you by breathing. The best thing to do is to not get involved. You cant fight a god. Youll lose no matter what. You cant negotiate either. Theres NOTHING we can do. The last attempt to negotiate almost ended in the complete leveling of Tokyo and the deaths of everyone who lives here and in Tokyo. And still nothing happened to change anything. Everything fell back to the chaos it was before."

He stopped looking over at some children playing hide and go seek on a pile of rubble.

"Thats the last Ill say, if you want to stick your nose where it doesnt belong. Go ahead, but I wont be responcible for you and your babies deaths."

Takara inwardly sighed and nodded. What he said made sense, for the moment, there was probably nothing she could do and the best thing was to make sure her child was safe. Before taking her leave, she spoke to him one last younger.

"Very well, but I won't forget this place, someday it will be taken down, and I've no doubt Einlanzer and Masamune together could stand a chance against the forces here..."

She walked away, back the way they had come and eventually made her way out of the strange place, keeping her hand upon her sword just in case. At home, she sensed Tachi's aura at the house as she entered the kitchen, managing a small smile upon seeing him, though she still felt slightly unhappy at not being able to do anything about the place she'd just been too. It weighed on her mind, and with much effort, she pushed it aside. Kyosuke was right, there was nothing she could do, at least for now. Takara took a seat at the table, attempting to act normal as she turned her gaze to Tachi.

"So, what did you find out from the Elemental Kingdoms?..."

Kyosuke watched as Takara walked away. He didnt speak as she left. He slowly made his way back to the Blades HQ in hopes to gain some information on the situation. On his way he was ambushed by several members of another gang. He stripped them of their souls, though only one truely had one. He finally made it back to a seemingly empty apartment complex. He went inside the outdated building and walked up the stairs passing by many delapidated rooms and rubble covered floors.

"Well its as clean as ever..."

He smirked and walked past the sentry covering the entrance to the only intact part of the complex. He walked in and pushed passed a couple people looking at a hand drawn map of the Infinity Fortress and Lower Town at its heels. He stopped behind a kid cleaning a mace of brain and blood.

"Taku... Hows it going kido?"

The boy looked up, as did all of the others in the room.

"KYOSUKE-DONO!"

Taku jumped to his feet and held out his hand. Kyosuke smacked it out of the way and messed up Takus carefully spiked hair.

"Hows the situation?"
"Well we expanded our eastern border, took over the Yakuza's territory and eliminated everyone in it."
"Heh, whats with you and mass murder? You get off on it or something?"
"neh, you should talk!"

Taku looked up and smirked, he was missing a tooth.

"Remind me again why I left a kid in charge?"
"Because Im the one who takes after you. Besides Im old now, Im 10."
"PAH! Old!? Im old compared to you kid. I took over a street or two and killed about seven guys on the southern border coming in, they need to re-populate faster...-"
I hope you hear this sister, this is why I chose this boy.
"Makes the killin's slow down."
"So hows Koori-sama, Taki-sama, and Kyoshiro-kun?"
"Neh, they're fine, I guess. That jackass Kyoshiro got me molested yesterday by like 3 horny highschool honeys. Not that I'm complaining or anything."
"Lucky..."
"Dude your like 10, why are you thinking about that kinda stuff?"
"Dunno, just am. ANYWAY! We need to go out on patrol. Find some more charlies to slaughter."
"Good plan, good plan. Lets go!"

They walked back outside and north. There had been increasing activity and the patrol was going to deal with it.

"Hey, these guys we're dealing with, real people? Not programs like you?"
"Yeah, real people, from the Lower Belt Line. They've been killing all of the patrols and rescue attempts I've sent out here. Its time to deal with them once and for all."
"Yeah, good idea."

They walked in silence for about 20 minutes and finally reached the border. The were rotting carcases strung all over and the entire area smelled of death. The patrol broke up to collect the dead into one pile. Out of the corner of his eye Kyosuke noticed a slight flash. A second later 13 Beltline guys crashed from the ground and throgh the walls of the surrounding buildings.

"So... We finally meet... Kyosuke!"

A large bodied man rushed at himwith the speed of a bullet train. Kyosuke barely dodged in time as the man plowed through a steel reenforced concrete wall, head first, that had been inches from Kyosuke. Kyosuke lunged at him from the mans right side and as he appeared he disappeared and attacked from the left, now the man's exposed back. He placed his palm on the back of his neck

"Ki kuu..."

An intricate inverted black star seared into the back of the mans head and the spear of dark soul gathering energy pieced though the back of his neck. The spear protruded from his mouth. His tounge dangling from the solidified energy and his teeth flew from his head. His soul stripped from his body and was absorbed by Kyosuke. Without pause Kyosuke turned and jut his arm out at two others.

"Kage shi!" The shadows came from everywhere and surrounded the men and liquifed their bodies before the first mans body ignighted in the dark flame. With three down it was now ten on ten. Kysouke didnt waste a second he moved his hand to face the others.

"Ki kuu!"

The inverted star seared into the air around his hand and 30 spears shot from the star and destroyed the remaining enemies. Their souls were once again absorbed into Kyosuke by the technique, adding further to his power. Though this time immencly. These men were about as powerful as vain had been before the peak of the red moon. Kysouke stood there for a second in the same position he had been in, as the others in the patrol looked on in awe. A few seconds later a man stepped out from behind some rubble. He had white hair, and dressed in a white suit with a purple shirt underneath. He had several 24 karrot gold chains.

"Very nice... They were the weakest the Belt Line had to offer. Im glad some of you Lower Town vermin are at least able to challenge them."
"Your from Babylon City arent you?!"
"Yes, and I could kill you all with the opening of my fist."
"What do you want here? Your not welcome."
"Does it look like I care if Im welcome or not? Im just an observer. I have no need to fight you, nor any desire to. For if I had, youd all be dead by now."

He squinted his eyes into a death glare and one could physicly feel the intent to kill. It far supassed anything Kyosuke had ever felt. He looked at the man in shock and stepped back.
"Dont worry children, Im not here to kill you. Now if I may?"

He disappeared. Kysouke slowly walked back over to the group who was ins shock also. They went back to the HQ. Kyosuke didnt stop he walked back to the appartment complex. As he left Lower Town he broke into a run. He passed through the Shinjuku underground in a few minutes and was back at his appartment in 15 minutes running at a normal human pace. He stood at the top of the stairs trying to catch his breath and to steady himself. He had been shaking very badly as he ran back. A cold sweat ran down his face as his heart slowed back to normal. Koori was inside doing her homework and heard Kyosuke come up the stairs. She had just finished her last Calculus problem as he made it to the top of the stairs. She felt the intent to kill from here. Though it had weakend considerably over the distance, so it just sent a strong shiver down her spine and goose bumbs. She got up to welcome him home but he didnt come inside. It began to sprinkle. she stepped outside to see what had happened. She placed her hand on Kyosuke's shoulder to try and calm him but he was shaking so badly that she removed her hand.

"What happened?..."

She spoke in a calm soothing voice, but it didnt help.

"An observer... From Babylon City... He spared us... But the intent to kill... It was so strong... that it alone... coulda probably killed someone..."

His breathing slowed and he stood up straight. Koori led him inside as though he was a guest there for the first time. she sat him down on the caoch(sp? to much chinese work sweatdrop ) and wrpped him in the blanket she had been using and tried to calm him down. Koori had been listening to Taki's CDs and Malice Mizer's single Garnet was playing on the stereo, the song was Gensou Kauen(Garnet has like 4 songs, so much for a single huh?).

come back little brother! I just want to talk to you!

They came back through the portal. Koori sat down in a chair and pondered on how they could get to Makai. But nothing came to her.

"So whats this Makai place anyway?"
"I dont know. Some other realm or something."
"This s**t is just getting confusing. I should see if I can rip a whole in the space time continueum and see if we can get there that way..."
"Can you do that?"
"Dunno, maybe, if I try real hard."

He was trying to be optimistic knowing that Koori missed this mystery person.

"First I suggest we get out of this house, then skip tomorrow. Maybe Takara knows how..."
"Ok..."
