But the swift vampire, saved most of the possessions when some crashed onto the expensive carpet. A nudging in a part of his mind that will always be left open to his master, he quickly relayed a message to him of what happened and that he will take care of everything. The broken lamp, as the imported vase was saved, was gone in an instant to somewhere unknown as another took its place. Everything looked as fine and beautiful as before. Maybe this is one of the reasons why Kaeru kept him, other than the fact that he is Metamorphoses’ central system, the one that monitors everything in the lab.
My master is the beautiful Dr. Bi or also known as Kaeru-sama. Do you have business with him?

"Non," Lucien said quietly in response to the vampire's question, feeling awful for having caused the spill. On the rebound, he was slightly knocked off balance from the contact with the table and he promptly fell backwards, landing on his a**. "Bon d'acour!" he said again before standing up. "Je suis désolé!" he said as an appology, brushing himself off. He pressed his left palm to his right eye. "This eye is a curse!" he said, laughing slightly.

The vampire said nothing as he regarded the man in front of him. At the moment, he did not care about anything but guarding his master’s doorway as he went back to stand besides it, leaning slightly on the ever unmoving wall.

Lucien walked back to the vampiric creature. "Excusemoi, monsier..." he began again, "But perhaps I could meet Monsier Bi? I should very much like to meet him, as I have heard that he is quite the génie." He walked back to the door and pressed his ear to it, wondering what was going on in the room that was so important.

Some invisible force pushed at Lucien gently so that his ear was off the door. Its source was the dark haired vampire next to Lucien who said with his mind There are many who want to meet him or require his service but only a few actually do. You are only one of the many thousands. Ketsuki was clearly not going to let the vampire enter without any real reason and especially without his master’s word.

Lucian frowned slightly before walking to the vampire and reaching out to touch him. It was just now that he realized his beauty. He blinked, then turned away to stare back at the door. "Zen I shall have to merely wait 'ere for 'eem." He said, smirking as he did waited. He then turned back to stare at the vampire. "Kesuki, you have met ze doctor?" he asked. It was more curiosity to meet the doctor than actual awe.

Knowing the other was also a vampire, he did not ask how the man knew his name but answered his question. Yes, I have. He did not care if the other wanted to wait for his master as there had been others who did the same. Do you require his service? For your arm and eye? Because Ketsuki monitored every little thing in Metamorphoses, he knew what happened to the vampire next to him.

"Oh, no! I would not eempose my problems upon a-nuh-zair!" he said laughing slightly, then tripped over the rug as it was on his right side. He laughed again, slightly. "Well, maybe 'ee's 'elp would be welcome...haha.." He looked back up at the other vampire.

 On the outside, Ketsuki remained silent though his mental voice was not so. Kaeru-sama specializes in beauty so I do not know if he can help you. I believe Dr. Kumiawa could though as he is a healing scientist. Rumors are that the man can heal anything. Of course, Ketsuki knew if these rumors are true or not as he knew every second of the vast lab but it was not his place to expose secrets.

"Eet does not matter. I only weesh to meet the doctor who ees famed for being so talented." Lucien turned to stare at the door and walked back up to it, considering. He reached forward, sliding his hand down the smooth wood, his slender fingers bending slightly so that his long nails would slightly scratch against the wood. "Besides...I have more problems than just these 'andicaps." His hand went down to briefly touch his thigh.

Then what will you give Kaeru-sama for his services if he actually decided to help you? There is a link between him and the master as Kaeru is his god and therefore, the man can hear their conversation…that is if he wanted to or care to.

Lucien turned and stared at Ketsuki with a hard, serious, and grave expression, his voice low and no longer happy. "I would geeve anyzing. My soul, my body, my very being, my life." He appeared to be showing his true reason for being here. He needed to see the doctor. He was always hiding behind that mask of silliness, but not now. The half lycan, half vampire stared gravely at the other vampire, trying to ensure that the other knew how grave he was.

And what if my master does not want those things? Not that Ketsuki know if Kaeru did not want it but knew his master would want him to ask that question. What if he refused you? What would you do? What is it that you want from my master that you would give everything you have? Is it really worth your life? To sacrifice yourself for this thing? This was not the first time that someone arrived and was willing to depart their life for their wishes, but once again, Kaeru was not someone who would rescue every abandoned puppy he met, if he did he would have no time and overwork himself for something that had nothing to do with him.

Lucien walked up to the vampire, getting right up to him and speaking, not with his mouth but with his mind. Eef 'e does not want zose zings, eef 'e refuses me, zen I will have no reason left to bahzer 'eem. What I want from 'eem ees none of your beezness. Eet ees very eemportant to me...Somezing only 'e can explain to me, I believe.... He continued to stare at the vampire, leaning up, washing him with his breath, making eye contact.

Ketsuki was not intimidated as his face was still emotionless as always. His master was indeed listening as he commanded Ketsuki to ask If you will not tell me, then he will also not listen. He was only saying what he was commanded to do, as he did not care what the vampire had to hide.
