I know doujinshin are manga made by fans. Like...not the original creators, just regular old fans making their own story out of the characters.

I agree with NI on the prefering rubbing alcohol to pennies. Rubbing alcohol can get to you but the smell of metal on your hand just makes me wanna hold my hands as far away as possible...heh, I was about to say it would make me want to cut it off but let's not go that extreme.

I haven't seen Sin City either yet...but if it's bloodier than X/999 that's just crazy heart ...Maybe I'll go rent it tomorrow right before leaving. Sorry if this is a stupid question but is the whole movie in black and white? sweatdrop

Whoa, for a second I thought that was NI sweatdrop (For a second)
IMDB.com
A collection of interweaving stories all based in the corrupt, crime infested hell-hole that is Basin City. Heavily influenced by film-noir, the main storylines concern a hulking brute called Marv (Mickey Rourke), who is seeking the murderer of a beautiful woman who was killed while asleep in bed with him; an ex-photographer called Dwight (Clive Owen) who accidentally kills a hero cop and has to cover it up; and a soon-to-be-retiring policeman called Hartigan (Bruce Willis) who is incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit.

I almost forgot---I saw Stealth today 3nodding Great movie but it sucks how they kill off *spoiler* Jamie Foxx. Yeah, I see how it is, kill off the black man mad . No no, I'm just kidding. I don't wanna get into that debate. But really, they don't give that person enough limelight. He was the best too...
I got a question. Where is Josh Lucas from? He's the leading male and I was trying to figure out who he was but nothing rang a bell.

*Sighs happily* Well, one of my major goals for my life is completed. And I'm very, very happy about it. And just a bit smug. And if I tell you what it is, you'll all think I'm completely nuts, because it's something most people would get depressed about. I just find it funny, and rather satisfying. A hundred points to the person who can guess what the hell I'm talking about.

And, gee, thanks. I feel so flattered that you thought someone else was me. razz

Today I watched Sin City. God, that was a damn bloody movie. It was rated PG-16, but really, anyone with half of a brain would rate it PG-18 or something. I've never seen so much violence in my life, not even in Elfen Lied combined with X/1999. I lost count of how many times I felt like vomiting. gonk

Also, can anyone answer this question?
Sage Magnillius Mage
Yeah anyway i wish 2 know the deffrence between doujin & doujinshi

Yea I've seen Sin City too, and for even being 19 at the time I thought it was a bit much and I completely disliked it. Its just not my kind of movie. I felt the same way about Kill Bill. I don't like movies that are really just filled with senseless violence and no really interesting storyline.

The difference between doujin and doujinshi... um... last I checked doujin was just a shortening of the actual word doujinshi. Otherwise, I really don't know since I'm not that into doujinshi.

Someone else answered my question, so I think I should post.
Majah
Doujin is anything that is derived from an existing work created by fans. It could aso be dedicate to fans. It is a general thing. It could be from a video game, anime, manga, books, fan-art, etc.

Doujinshi is a form/type of Doujin. It is what you call a manga fanfic.

Hmm, good to know. Maybe. I'll probably forget it in, say, ten minutes. Aww, there's a mourning dove nest in front of my great-aunt's house. And it's got three eggs in it. Nooo, I just got reminded that some of the Angels players got traded. And I liked those people.

gonk I just realised that I forgot to wish NI a happy birthday! Damn my bad memory, and damn Sin City, which was occupying my mind yesterday!
But happy day after your birthday!
PostPosted: Sat Jul 30, 2005 3:43 pm

*Giggles* That was actually what I was happy about. No one remembered my birthday without hints. My mom even forgot, and that's why she wanted us here yesterday. I have problems with my birthday. Simply because people always ask me questions about it. "Do you want to do this? Go somewhere? What do you want as a present?" No, I don't want to do anything, I don't want to go anywhere, and I don't like presents. And then people fuss over me on the actual day. Drives me crazy. I hate being paid attention to. Being ignored is more fun. whee

Really, if I didn't know you, that would have scared the hell outta me. But we all know that NI is crazy (just like the rest of us, though in a different way) so it's okay. xd

That's what LHL says alll the time. "People who don't know us probably think we're insane." Mostly when we're talking about some weird, random thing to do with an anime we watched recently. Or something like that. Being normal would be boring.

It's so true! She really does hate her birthday. I had to basicaly force her to take my gifts the last two years. Course i have fun with the tormenting her about getting her gifts. She always says she wont take em.

So so so true! Also NI is insane, but I'm much more insane. It's way to boring to follow some crowd or trend.

I think anime killed the last shread of normality any of us may have had. I have an edit shop, and I was thinking of opening up a ready to wear line, who FY and FYGK been interesting as avatar edits? I'm afriad Absolute wouldn't be original enough and I'm not very familiar with the other series (save Alice ninja ).
