Tails peered out of another patch of grass and, finally, found the weather building forty paces away. He knew that those that were around often weren't around this particular area, but it was a good place to start. Wild Pokemon don't simply enter human buildings without there being a prize. "Alright. Let's split up here," he said. "We should start with circling the building. Keep below the windows, but look inside when you can. Maybe there's one in there."

Trigramatic Tails peered out of another patch of grass and, finally, found the weather building forty paces away. "It could be out here, but it's just as likely it could be in there too. Good luck, Tristen," Tails sang, and started for the opposite end of the building. He wondered if Telia could help...but figured that might be cheating.

He wondered if Telia could help...but figured that might be cheating. Telia actually just hung back. Unlike Tristen and Tails, she wasn't too good at hiding herself near windows. A Pokemon like her would stick out like a sore thumb for the most part... Tristen made his way to the windows, slowly peeking up on occasion. He knew what he was looking for, but...just finding it was a whole other issue.

Ears pinned against his head, Tails peered through each window he came across, no matter whether it led to the same room. Every point of view was important. At the corner was a cooling system, outdated but it must have been very handy. Noisy too, and taller than he was.
Three minutes later, the grass rustled behind Tristen. Should he turn around, there would be a whitecoat staring down at him. His countenance was altogether pleasant.

At the corner was a cooling system, outdated but it must have been very handy. Noisy too, and taller than he was. Three minutes later, the grass rustled behind Tristen. But then something didn't settle right. He then turned around then jumped out of shock, back against the wall. Um...oops?

"Ah! Don't be afraid, little guy," he said. He knelt down to be on Tristen's level -- the kid seemed a little small. Perhaps that was his hybrid heritage. "We noticed you and your friend looking around the area. Did you lose something?"

Trigramatic "Ah! Don't be afraid, little guy," he said. He knelt down to be on Tristen's level -- the kid seemed a little small. Perhaps that was his hybrid heritage. "We noticed you and your friend looking around the area. Did you lose something?" "Uh. Um." He looked around. No Tails. No Telia. "No, we didn't. I was told there was supposed to be a rare Pokemon around here." He said to him. "Didn't know what it was called though. Just that it would be a big water drop out here and grey inside places." He said.

"Castform then?" the scientist said. "Yeah, it's a Pokemon found only at the summit of some of the hills up north. They've been invaluable for gathering data. So much so, even, that we've secured a subsidy from the government to breed them and send them to other weather institutes in the neighboring regions."

Tristen stared at the scientist as if he was speaking Greek. Subsidy? Institute? What's that? Is that a food? "Um. Ok?" He spoke up. Still though, he did gather this much. That Pokemon that Tails was talking about. "But uh. Castform?" He asked.

He said, following the scientist. He was a bit cautious. He was following a total stranger as far as he was concerned, and with Tails no where around? Well... He looked back, trying to see if he could catch a glimpse of Tails, or Telia for that matter, but didn't see either. He then approached the scientist, where he was going to be lead to.

Before the front door, with a brown haired scientist, was Tails. Tails shrugged a defeated shrugged. "Whoops. Busted."
"No, not busted. This is a public building. We're the best place you can learn about Castform," the brown haired scientist, named Seth, said. "Now come inside and dry off. Hybrid or not, you kids probably shouldn't be running around naked or half naked in the rain."
